I likewise found Ironman 3 Steelbook for $14.99. Captain America 1 and 3 are $19.99. Winter Soldier was $29.99. No Thor 3. Sale prices were not marked at my store.

I ended up getting two more today. Toy Story 3 (my favorite of the series) and Finding Nemo. I hope they don't get beat up in the mail...

Aargh. I swore I wasn't going to buy any movies this month, but I wound up getting 9 Marvel steelbooks (after $20 in reward certs, that brings 'em down to $10 a pop). Now I have everything in 4K except Iron Man 3 and Winter Soldier. I might swing by Best Buy tomorrow afternoon to see if I can find IM3 in-store.

Re: 4K / Ultra HD Blu-ray: Discounts and deals

yeah, this sale is crazy right now. With the quality of Disney+, upgrading my existing blu-rays to the new UHD releases seems unnecessary, but at the $10 to $13 price point, it's hard to resist. I assume that this sale is Disney/Marvel only, I can't get it to work with other steelbooks. It does work with the Disney steelbooks that aren't discounted, so it is tempting to even throw in the original Aladdin movie on steelbook, but that definitely waters down the deal.

Edit to add link that I just got from Best Buy deal of the day email

I tried buying the three Iron Man movies in store today and it wouldn't apply the discount. They couldn't even override the price because I guess it was cheaper than they were allowed to sell it for.

Iron Man 3 steelbook technically isn't part of the sale for some reason. Some have gotten a manager to override it.

So I tried online chat with Best Buy because I happened to buy three eligible titles on 12/14. No deal, they want me to return them and rebuy. Doesn't seem great but I assume chat is outsourced somewhere where they can't do much.

Re: 4K / Ultra HD Blu-ray: Discounts and deals

I think I'm good with the four that I bought for now (Toy Story 3, 4, GOTG, and Finding Nemo). I'd buy Wreck-it Ralph 1 and 2 and some of the OG Disney titles if they drop in price. $14.99 is my price point.

The Matrix trilogy is currently 35.76 at Walmart and Amazon, the lowest it's been to my knowledge.

Need that price to go down before I bite...and, of course, need to know what the bonus materials are. I might be in closer to $150, but never at $250, not when they're all in HD on Disney+ (or will be by the end of the year).

I think that all the ones currently up on Disney+ are available on there in UHD/4K, if your TV, streaming device, and internet bandwidth can handle it.
