Depending on the country and language of query (English being what it is in the USA), Customer Service queries are routed to appropriate call centers. Any English query originating in the USA usually goes to India, hence the response in English.

You have to check one of the deal sites basically every day to be informed about eBay's now-frequent coupon codes. You could probably run a keyword filter notification on Slickdeals and get notified by email that way.

Amazon Germany has a sale going on with many Studio Canal and Euro Video titles at €5.55 each. There is no link to the sale (or I cannot find it on Amazon.de). However go to bluray.com, in the search box dropdown, click on Germany and then click the link below. From the resulting page, check out titles that are priced at €5.55

Caveats:

The current Amazon conversion rate. The Visa/MC current rate is around 1.17
I pretty much never suggest checking out using the Amazon conversion to USD b/c even if your CC charges the full 3% FOREX it's almost always more expensive using Amazon's 4%+ surcharge on the exchange rate.
If you have a Cap One or another increasingly common card that is 0% FOREX fee check out in local currency. I think Amazon's own VISA is now a 0% card so save the 4-5% extra
