I'm in the opposite boat! With the exception of two of them, they're all titles I avoided in previous sales due to either lack of familiarity or slight disinterest. Still not sure about a few of them, but the price finally makes them tempting . . .

Severin Films' sale just went live (it's 9:02pm PST)!

Vinegar Syndrome
said their sale is supposed to go live between 5am (EST) and 7am (EST)

Thanks to last year's 60% off sale, I can't pick enough titles to make any of the bundles, and I'm just not sure I won't be able to do better than 35% off somewhere else down the road.

Code for 35% off is SEVERINSALE by the way. Doesn't appear to work on their most recent releases, though. Still might be able to swing a couple of bargains if I hunt around, though.

Same. There is definitely 7+ Titles I would love to buy from them at 65% off. But not seven in their preselected group. Way to kill your Black Friday sale guys. 1/5

Also (stolen from bluray.com):
Shipping starts at $9 and maxes out at $14

re: Deals Thread for Cult, Genre and/or Non-Region A Blu-Rays

After struggling for far too long with the Severin sale last night and not really pulling the trigger (yet!), the Vinegar Syndrome sale was a breath of fresh air, especially with free shipping. In for:

The Candy Tangerine Man + Lady Cocoa
Dolemite
The Human Tornado
Petey Wheatstraw
Disco Godfather

Nice to finally unload my less-than-ideal Rudy Ray Moore box set from Xenon. Might return for another batch later, finances permitting . . .

Are the Severin titles blu-ray and DVD, or are some titles just DVD? I'm not familiar enough with their catalog releases and the pull-down menu wasn't any help. --Peter

If I'm not mistaken the titles in the Bundle are all Blu-Rays.

Severin has releases both on Blu-Ray & DVD though if you are looking for single titles.

For anyone on the fence about any of the Limited Edition Vinegar Syndrome titles coming up, Mondo Digital has posted reviews of them!

re: Deals Thread for Cult, Genre and/or Non-Region A Blu-Rays

I wasn't really planning on it, but I just spent the bulk of what I planned to spend at the Vinegar Syndrome sale.

I'm still debating on the Severin sale. Looking at the titles offered in the bundles, I already own a few of them and there are a couple I'm not really interested in. The best I could muster up would be an order for the 5 Blu-ray bundle, but I'm considering just waiting for a future sale that might have some more options.

VCI also dropped a few titles to 75% off for their BF sale. The usual suspects, but just in case:

They've also got the Blu-ray of A Christmas Carol (1951) as a Cyber Monday special for $5.00

Kino Lorber Black Friday Sale - 60% or more off with BF2016, but the selection of titles is rather limited:

That version of Christmas Carol is not the remastered one. Best to avoid that one.

Is the code applicable ONLY for the titles on that link ? if yes, it does not work in the cart. In other words, what are the titles on which that code is supposed to work ?

EDIT: Code works for some titles, not all on the product page linked above. Also code takes 60% off the MSRP, not the price in Red shown for each title

Took me a little while to figure out how it worked, too. Not sure why they put stuff in the list, like The Stranger Blu-Ray, when there's no further discount on it. Only two KL Classics there that I'm interested in. The code makes them $11.98 each, just as in the recent sale, but I don't need anything else there to trigger free shipping.

Yup, same here, only need 2. 'Himalaya' (an excellent film) was $9.99 two years ago on a similar KL sale. Its been a disappointing BF so far, overall !

Anyone have any luck placing an order at Drafthouse? Every time I add a title to my cart, it replaces the title I put there before it, so I always have just one item. Weird.

I tried placing an order, - entered the info and pushed the button, -but I never got a confirm at the site. I never got an e-mail. I'm not sure what my status is. I'll just have to call my CC company for the next few days and see if it shows up as a charge.

In two of the browsers it actually forces me to choose shipping to Canada despite multiple U.S. mailing addresses. Shipping to Canada for a single $5.00 BD is over $10. That's rich. Gonna try my laptop next, see if either of those browsers will work.

I couldn't get it to work on my iPad but everything went fine in safari.
