B1G1F sale at Arrow! This is their UK site, so bear in mind that some titles will be coded to region B.

If you pick up two titles for £18, that basically comes out to $11.33 each before shipping. Pretty phenomenal.

Thanks, Chad! At a quick glance, the Zavvi sale is better. The box sets are $28.20 after the discount instead of $31.34 directly from Arrow, and a lot of Arrow's $11.33 titles are $9.40 at Zavvi. But it does look like the Arrow sale includes more titles. I don't think Zavvi is including any Arrow Academy releases in this sale, or at least I don't see any on the first couple pages.

Anyone know if SEIJUN SUZUKI'S THE TAISHO TRILOGY comes with a booklet. The US version does, but the listing at Arrow UK does not mention it (whereas they do mention booklets for other similar box sets). --Peter

I placed an order for 2 movies during the most recent Arrow sale through their site. It shipped on July 15 but I have yet to receive it. During this time I also placed order from Amazon Germany(ordered on 7/19, shipped on 7/20, received part of my order last week) and Amazon UK(ordered on 7/23, shipped 7/25 and received on 8/1). Should I be concerned? This is my first time ordering from them.

I placed my Arrow order on June 30th and got it about mid-July. I placed an order at Amazon UK about 5 days later and got about 6 days after the Arrow order. On the other hand, my previous order (last year) took about 3 or so weeks but never showed as shipped on theArrow site.

I wouldn't be too concerned yet - give the postal service another week. I just got an order yesterday that I think posted almost/at least two weeks ago. --Peter

International orders can take anywhere from 2 to 5 weeks in most cases. Occasionally items get delivered faster, but your order is at the mercy of US Customs' processing speed if that cargo happens to be chosen for closer inspection.

I placed an order for 4 movies. 3 shipped out on July 1st, and the fourth shipped on July 4th. I got the first shipment the following week. Still no sign of the last guy. Shipped just a few days apart from the same source, but weeks apart (and counting!) for arrival. I figure I'll give it another week before sending Arrow an email asking about next steps.

And just to do a follow-up on this....I finally received my order today only to see one, maybe both items have been damaged due to water. You could tell by looking at the outside of the packaging that something wasn't right as the cardboard was coming a part. And once I opened it one of the movies I ordered(Candyman) had moisture inside. I haven't opened either of the movies themselves to see what damage may have occurred. I shot off an email to Arrow, so we'll see what happens next.
