Flicker Alley has their new and improved deluxe edition of THIS IS CINERAMA up for 30% off at $27.99
https://www.flickeralley.com/classic...ion/p/99750468

Not sure if they'll do a free shipping promo at some point as they've done with other new releases in the past, but I'll hold off just in case.

Flicker Alley and Cinerama Inc. are pleased to announce the long-awaited re-release of This is Cinerama, now beautifully restored from the original three-panel, six-perforation camera elements. Presented in a deluxe Blu-ray edition, this is the most extensive and thorough restoration yet of the film that changed the shape and sound of the movies forever!

Now, audiences can experience the forerunner to all modern widescreen formats once again, and in a brand-new, definitive restoration. From Venice to Madrid, from Edinburgh Castle to the La Scala opera house in Milan, and all across America in the nose of a B-25 bomber, travel around the world with Cinerama, presented in the one-and-only Smilebox® curved screen simulation.

I like a number of the FA releases, but I consider them overpriced. At least Criterion's get marked down 50% a few times a year.

not just that. They're starting to go the re-release route as well - new remasterings, new scores etc. 'Trip to the Moon' will be another one being re-released

that one is dreadfully overpriced for a 15 minute film & a documentary. If it was $10, I'd get it for the colorized version (I already have a version or 2).

Looks like Flicker Alley has also restored WINDJAMMER from the original camera elements as well.
https://www.flickeralley.com/classic...ion/p/99982291
Both it and the previously-mentioned THIS IS CINERAMA are available at $27.99 (30% off), and both now come with free shipping if you order before Feb 3. I'm tempted on THIS IS CINERAMA since the first release had some issues, but I can live with the existing WINDJAMMER.

Depends on what you like!

Though Unearthed Films definitely cater to a very specific crowd.

$13.50 is too high for Corman in my book.

Not in mine, especially with those phenomenal special editions, but since I've already got them all there's nothing here for me. Now that Shout has bought his 270-title New Horizons library, I'm hoping they can expand the Corman Classics line because there's more than a few worthy titles in there. On the other hand, I can only imagine the crummy remakes we'll be subjected to . . .

Some of those Corman titles are really tempting. I think I only have a couple of them because they rarely seem to drop in price.

They also announced their next Half Way to Black Friday sale for May 25-28 in a recent e-newsletter.

A few titles are more than the advertised 50% off: MALIBU HIGH, HOBGOBLINS, COUNT DRACULA'S GREAT LOVE, PSYCHIC KILLER, maybe others. A lot of stuff is less than 50% off, though (unless those are just ongoing discounts?).

Good, not great, prices on those DD sales. A coupon code would help of course. Super D's stranglehold over the non-Amazon media internet outlets has basically ended seeing new media selling for below 50% off.
