I have seen, I think, the first and third; rented many, many, many years ago ...

I believe Oldies is having the same sale and has a free shipping threshold at $75.

Diabolikal Spring Sale at Diabolik, until June 9. Many titles sale Ďnot in stockí, but all can be ordered and will ship according to the sale details. Thereís a mix of stuff for various labels (Arrow, MVD, Visual Vengeance, Radiance) but comparison shopping may still be wise:

Iím way late on this one, but only noticed it tonight! Dark Force had a Memorial Day weekend sale that is still on. It includes a couple of Vinegar Syndrome titles and a bunch of the Dark Force Drive-In double features, plus other titles. Most (maybe all) of the sale discs are identifiable by the American flag thumbnails:

EDIT: Guess I posted too late - the siteís offline now so the saleís over. I already own all the discounted items from previous sales, so there was nothing for me anyway, but it would be nice if those martial arts titles they have would turn up in the next round.

Severinís summer sale includes a bunch of titles that are 75% off. Many, many BDs are $7.50 (and some even less!).

Their free shipping thresholds still suck big time, but Iím sure folks in the U.S. could take more than a few chances with stuff at these prices. Iím tempted as always to add some doubles to offset paying more for some stuff earlier, and in sales no less!

If I buy two Blu-rays now and pay a shipping charge and then later add something that takes me over the free shipping threshold with “add to order” do they ever refund the shipping charge?

Also noticed Severinís having a box set sale on July 13 only, 12:01 am to 11:59 pm. I believe they did this last year as well, which led to some discussion here about price comparisons with a Severin sale at Grindhouse Video, which was a little cheaper in nearly all cases. I donít see any Severin deals at Grindhouse right now, though (only a Synapse sale), so Severinís pricing might have to suffice for those looking in that category.

It sounds like it:

ADD TO ORDER IMPORTANT NOTE: You can add to your existing order anytime during the sale. We have implemented a new process for adding to your existing order specifically for this four-day Summer sales event. To utilize it you will want to make sure that you are LOGGED IN when you place your first order and any subsequent orders. For all additional orders that you place during the sale you will see the FREE shipping option Add To My Existing Order | Combine w/Previous Order(s). Select this shipping option, and your new order will be combined with your previously placed sale order. Thatís it!

Shipping defaults to paid shipping - use the drop down menu to find the free media mail option (which may only be added once your order hits $100). --Peter

So they don't actually charge you for everything until the sale is over?

I mistakenly assumed Severin's note about orders being automatically merged together meant you'd have the opportunity to change shipping as part of that, but now that I'm more awake, I'm not sure how realistic that is. For sure, though, you could email [email protected] and request an adjustment. They're very helpful (but get overwhelmed during sales, so response time might take a bit).

My order -- Opera (UHD), Dario Argento's Deep Cuts, and The Psychic (UHD LE) -- put me over the threshold, so I don't have a way to test this myself.

Sometimes with coupon DeepDiscount also gets close to 50% or higher sale on those boxsets. Severin's email says its 50% off MSRP so it's not really that much of a deal (face it we are all mostly bargain hunters here).
