Not sure if this has already been shared, but Network went bankrupt. Website permanently down and their blurays are already going sold out/OOP at various retailers (Orbitdvd, rarewaves, etc.)

If there are any Network releases you want, then I highly suggest get it now - if you still can.

Thank you very much 🙏🏻. Placed an order for 16 titles - $100 with shipping to SoCal, More than 3x the price if you were to buy them from their eBay store. May end up making another order in a few weeks if titles are still available,

Speaking of rarewaves they have an Arrow sale, a bunch of titles for $9.99 and $10.99 and up, A Tale of Two Sisters was part of it (I ultimately passed because there's a new BD being released by Umbrella this week). I ended up picking up a few and Croupier for $14.99.

Re: Deals Thread for Cult, Genre and/or Non-Region A Blu-Rays

Dark Force Entertainment has a ĎJokerís Wildí sale on Ė presumably in honour of the late Bill Olsen. I believe thereís about 17 titles in all, priced from $10 to $16 or so (some have slips) with free shipping over $30. Iím not sure all 17 are still in stock as I just noticed the sale by randomly visiting their site tonight (and then checking their FB posts, which I rarely do). Itís a July 4 weekend sale, so Iím not sure when it ends, and apparently the Ďcardsí shuffle on occasion.

The best bet is just to skim through their listings and click the joker cards to see what the item is. Most of them are in the Blu-ray section here:
https://darkforcesuperstore.com/shop-all/

Öbut thereís one in the DVD section that includes two separate discs in a bundle: Code Red editions of BLUE LIGHTS and DEATH PROMISE (which has also popped up in the Vinegar Syndrome sale on Blu).

Dark Forceís non-slipcover blu-ray special edition of HUNDRA is also one of the Ďcardsí at $12.99, which may be the first time itís been on sale.

I have a good portion of their catalog already, but did manage to put six in the cart.

Edit: make that seven. I discovered that free shipping to Canada kicks in around $75.

Surprised this hasn't been posted yet, but DeepDiscount has a sale on some Indicator titles ( they are US/region A compatible):

https://www.deepdiscount.com/indicat...67?az=37-31370

It's probably cheaper than ordering from the UK Indicator site when they have their sales (shipping is expensive). Plus I was able to use a 10% discount code on DD. Was either PLUNGE or DEEP10.

Re: Deals Thread for Cult, Genre and/or Non-Region A Blu-Rays

From our pals at Grindhouse Video:
It's been a while since we've done this sale but it's back and bigger than before! This sale will not end but the titles in the sale may not return once they sell out. The least expensive title(s) are always the free ones. NO CHANGES CAN BE MADE ONCE THE ORDER IS PLACED!

As some of you may know, we just purchased all of the remaining stock from Code Red and Scorpion Releasing. It's all here. Most of the DVDs are already available on the site and in the B2G1 sale. The inventory for the Blu-Rays will start next week. A lot of them will be added to the B2G1 sale. Keep checking back as we add new titles to the sale throughout the next few weeks.

Got that email yesterday and went through the entire sales stock, which as noted only includes the the Code Red / Scorpion DVDs so far. Nearly all of those have mostly been cheaper (often considerably) in previous sales from those companies and other outlets like Ronin, Dark Force, etc. Of course, if Grindhouse literally has all the remaining stock from both companies, Iím guessing folks are stuck with whatever pricing they decide (the B2G1 isnít terrible; you just have to be cautious). Admittedly thereís a lot of cool titles in both catalogs, but quite a few of them have been reissued on other labels like VS which might have cheaper sale prices on them from time to time.

Update: they've now added the Code Red/Scorpion blus to the B2G1 sale.

They're definitely milking it. Glad I picked a lot of those up back when both labels or other retailers had them at appealing discounts.

Re: Deals Thread for Cult, Genre and/or Non-Region A Blu-Rays

Little bit late on this, since I don't seem to have received email blasts from Diabolik lately, but they're having an October sale featuring several labels. Pricing seems in line with their respective site sales, give or take. Nice to see 88 Films' Hong Kong and Shaw titles turn up in a sale for a change, too (including some fairly recent ones I definitely overpaid for because I didn't think get reduced due to their relatively small catalog. Live and learn ). Also, Arrow's Shawscope 2 is $80, which I think is a new low (excluding their supposed 'glitch' in their own sale recently):
https://diabolikdvd.com/shop/?produc...l-october-sale

DIABOLIKAL OCTOBER SALE

BROWSE ALL OF THE TITLES HERE

The Diabolikal October Sale runs from 10/17 to 10/31/23

From 10/17/23 UNTIL THE END OF THE DAY 10/31/23 over 700 titles will be on sale! (prices will only be reflected during these times)

Labels involved….

UNEARTHED
SYNAPSE
RADIANCE
ARROW
88 FILMS US
BLUE UNDERGROUND

Here are some things you should note….
  1. If a sale title you want is out of stock you can feel safe in knowing that we are ordering every day from the warehouse, which is just a 1 day ship to us so items will be restocked fairly quickly.
  2. The sale is during this period only and not good for past purchases (BUT if you just ordered or your order is in preorder, drop us an email and we will work it out)
  3. All orders will ship in full when all items are in stock, so if you order a preorder title along with your sale items, you will receive everything when the final title in your order is released. If you prefer not to wait, you should place multiple orders as we are unable to make shipping exceptions during the sale
  4. Please allow AT LEAST a week for your order to be processed during the sale. The extra volume clogs things up a bit and we would rather not skimp on the time we spend making sure the orders are packed well. We won’t be able to answer any “ORDER STATUS” emails during the sale.
  5. These titles aren’t 40 or 50% off, what gives? Sale prices are given to us based on the SRP of the title. 40 or 50% off our normal price would be amazing, but sadly, that is not what we are able to offer. We are grateful to be able to offer these sale prices to you so please enjoy !
  6. We know you have the overwhelming urge to email about slip covers but we unfortunately cannot answer this question during the sale. Inventory is constantly changing so it is impossible to say whether or not you are going to get a slip
  7. We cannot add any sale items to older orders and once something is in SHIPPING, it cannot be altered.
  8. See Number 1

I grabbed "In The Line Of Duty I-IV" ( 10 bucks cheaper than Amazon ) & "Phenomena" ( one of the few Argento's I didn't have ). Thanks!

Re: Deals Thread for Cult, Genre and/or Non-Region A Blu-Rays

I am thinking of ordering a non-sale item that is a pre-order (The Monster Squad 4K), do they pull an Amazon and if the price drops between when you pre-ordered and it ships, you get charged the lowest price? I might even pre-order The Inspector Wears Skirts since their price is the same as Amazon's and I have seen comments from folks who say that Diabolik does a solid job with packing safely for transit.

I know I will ordering Hard Boiled 2, just trying to figure out if I should order a couple more titles that are pre-orders and not part of this sale.

To the mods: Any chance of splitting non region A & Cult into 2 separate threads? I'm mostly interested in R.B classic discs.

Probably too late for this reply, but Iíd personally hold off on INSPECTOR WEARS SKIRTS (and other upcoming 88 titles like BLUE JEAN MONSTER, LONG ARM OF THR LAW, etc). In my previous post, I mentioned overpaying for some 88 titles because I didnít think their catalogue was big enough to be put on sale. These titles were TAXI HUNTER, LAST BLOOD, and POSTMAN FIGHTS BACK. I got them (up here) for the reasonable equivalent of the $22.99 they go for at most US sites, so to see them six bucks cheaper so soon was a bit frustrating. These are all relatively recent releases Ė LAST BLOOD just came out a week ago! Ė so itís a guaranteed bet that SKIRTS and the others will be in future sales, at Diabolik and elsewhere.

I did pick up some of the $14.99 Shaw titles in this sale: CHINESE BOXER, MARTIAL CLUB, DISCIPLES OF SHAOLIN, and LEGENDARY WEAPONS OF CHINA. I previously picked up some of their other Shaw discs from Amazon in various sales for around $16.99 (not to mention a bunch of their UK editions in the past ) so Iíll need to be more patient for lower prices like this in the future.

The very late period Karloff DVD box remains a good bargain, though the films are really only for hardcore BK collectors.

Grabbed "Gorgo" & "Blood & Black Lace". And now I will push myself away from the PC because that's like, the 3rd online order I've placed already this morning.
