Not a super price but I am so tempted. Should I still hold out for sub $125?

Came here after seeing the same deal appear in my inbox. Sorely tempted, but it seems to me that WB has a history of deep discounts.

I was tempted for a brief moment, but got control of myself. I'm not interested in paying $136 for it and then have to go through a replacement disc process for the one with missing features. I'm also primarily interested in the discs not the hot wheels car, etc. So, I'm holding out for the basic blu collection, which will hopefully be under $99. By then, they should have the disc error sorted out.

Tempted like the rest of you especially while it still includes an ultraviolet copy.
Will have to consider this one.

It's still too high considering it's been selling for $175. $135 is less than 25% off Amazon's "regular" price. If it was 50% off that price I would have purchased. But 50% off a ridiculously high list price isn't good enough.

Amazon shot too high with this pricing but I am sure a few will fall for its trap. This is a huge box set that takes a lot of space to store, studios hate holding inventory that will continue to decline in value. Amazon usually adds their own ten percent premium to what other retailers would charge on the same deal.

Keep in mind that not only are there a ton of these still on the shelves, but Warners will be repackaging these every which way so they can to recoup all those licensing costs they spent to put this set together. I expect we'll see "best of" sets on both formats before Christmas.

If it came with a reasonable price point, I would likely snag one. A little bit of this series goes a long way, and there is just no way I need every episode of this series. A best of set that covered most of the villains and true best episodes would be a great way to get even more to buy.

I agree it's too high since it's been lower at least a couple places already ($95 for the LE BD at BN is about the lowest I've heard), but arguing about how they calculate % Off isn't going to change the way retailers have advertised sales for 100+ years.
MSRP is generally the basis for all the "% Off Sales" at most places. Whether MSRP is truly ever a real world price is a different argument, but at most places that;s the way it's going to be worded -- other than a % Coupon might be applied to the std Sales price.
Best Buy is one of the few stores I know that seem to regularly take 20/30/40% of their list price which is often less than std MSRP.

This will certainly be cheaper some time during the road, but it's hard to say if this will too deeply discounted. I thinkdown the road the non-LE will be $60 or less, but I doubt this will dip too far below $100. It's been about the most requested TV show for the past 15 years, it's Batman and it's a LE.
BTW this price sucks. (but it's typical Amazon). Look for this to be around $120 in the next six months during a DOTD or DOTW.

Below $100 is all I'm looking for.
Make the Blu-ray $99 or less and I'll buy it on sight.

Well, for any that did buy this you could always sell your UV code (assuming you don't want it) to recoup at least $30 if not more. Not to me I bought the set.

If you're uninterested in the Digital Copy, the UV code that comes with the LE set has been fetching not less than $40, and I've seen them sell for $50-65 as well. Prices will fall as more copies are sold and distributed, but if you ONLY want the Blu-Rays you can likely defray the cost by selling the UV portion.
