* The Devil's Own / In the Line of Fire (I think; it was on two sets along with the AFO above)

Selection (like mileage) varies, so happy hunting.

Thanks for the heads up. I stopped by a local store this morning. Picked up the League/Natural, Frankenstein/Dracula, Zorro 1&2, and Brasco/Night sets. The first three came with UV codes as well, so an even better deal.

Thanks for posting, OP. The nice thing about this deal is there seems to be a Dollar General in every small town making it possible to check multiple locations, no matter where you live. After looking at a couple of stores, the only downside seems to be these aren't in great quantities from what I can see.

NOTE: These were not out on the floor. They had them stashed in the office and I had to show them the ad for them to bring them out. I asked why and they said that it's because when they put these out, they disappear (theft). Make sure you inquire with an employee if you don't see them out!

Just a heads up. If you buy anything right now at Dollar General the receipt should print out a coupon for $5 off $25 valid tomorrow (12/6/14) Saturday only.

I have checked a few different DG locations to see what each one had. I was also looking for more of the back/back shrinkwrap releases since I prefer individual cases.

I finally found a store today that had quite a few and went ahead and picked up Karate Kid 1 & 2, Are We Done Yet/Daddy Day Camp, and In the Line of Fire/The Devil's Own.

Found out about this when I got home this afternoon and looked at my receipt. Got Air Force One/In the Line of Fire - A League of Their Own/The Natural - 2012/Godzilla along with just over $10 in food/drink. If I would have known this ahead of time, could have just bought say the food/drink (which I needed for tonight) then came back tomarrow, bought the movies and $10 more of food/drink and thus got one of the two-packs for free. (The nearest Dollar General is only a few minutes away from me and I would be traveling past it anyway in my travels tomarrow - so I wouldn't be going out of my way to save $5.00 - sigh.)

Checked 2 locations tonight on my way home. The first location had 2 The Mortal Instrument gift sets stuffed into one of the media racks. Then there were several of the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs/lunchbox sets on a shelf just inside the door along with a single Steamboy DVD gift set.

2nd store had all of those along with a single copy of the 3 digibooks mentioned above.

One of the stores I visited (and maybe the other as well) definitely put them out today. Because, like you, I was there yesterday with the $5 coupon checking out the double packs.

Forgot to stop by a DG today but for those wanting a $5/$25 coupon without purchasing something in advance you can sign up online for coupons on their site. They usually update the expiration date each week. You can add the coupon to your account online or on your phone. Just make sure you sign in using the phone number you provide when signing up on the payment keypad when checking out.

I stopped at a couple earlier last week and bought the Karate Kid I & II set along with the Dracula and Frankenstein 2 pack.

I was fortunate. Discovered a store with a single copy of the 3 digibooks earlier in the week. Tucked them behind some DVDs on the wire rack and was happy to see them there this morning. So using the $5/$25 coupon, I had them along with the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 set for $4.75 each...not factoring in the peanuts I bought to get me over the $25 threshold.
