Just got this set in the mail yesterday after ordering two days earlier ... I went with Xcess Limited (which was a buck higher than Clover Media at that time) because I read in a forum that Clover Media ships in padded envelopes and I was hoping for a box. I even went for expedited shipping, hoping that would ensure a box. But no, it arrived in a padded envelope. Discs are fine, but all corners of the outer box are dented in.

That being said, wow, what a set! I came close to ordering when it dipped under $70 and it would have been a bargain then. Upgrade in picture quality over DVD is stunning.

This is very, very tempting. Haven't seen the show in a long, long time, to the point that I can't even remember the premise of any given episode. I remember liking it, though. Our oldest is on a Mary Poppins kick so maybe this makes good family viewing fare, I dunno. Hmm...

I can vouch for this being a great family show. My kids love it. Ironically, we just watched a few episodes earlier this evening.

How old are your kids? We have girls and both are quite young so maybe this is something to watch in a few years.

I'd suggest maybe checking a few of the episodes out on youtube. They have a bunch of the episodes here.

My older one loves the show more than my younger one, but there's enough physical comedy that both enjoy it.

Hmm, our girls are just 3 and under 1 so it would be a while until they really watched it. Maybe it'll come down in price by then (unless they haven't replaced Blu-ray with something else yet).

These jokers at Clover shipped mine moving around in a big envelope. The worst packing job that I have seen for a big set. But it only had minor problems. I wonder why they can't use a box.
