Re: Target deals
I have not been on for a while but just came in to report this deal. I was quite surprised when it rand up for this price and an additional 5% off for the target red card. I was expecting topaz around $60 before tax. I was shocked to see it ring up for about $23 after tax.

Re: Target deals
Plenty of both seasons available, which was aided by the fact that sale prices weren't stickered.

The Combo packs for Jupiter Ascending, Get Hard, and Mockingjay Part 1 are all $15 and part of the BOGO50%.
In fact, everything rings up as part of the BOGO50% including pm's. For example, I pm'd Amazon for Focus & X-Men Rogue Cut at $15 each, and the computer automatically deducted another $7.50, so they were $22.50 for both (+tax). The big question is whether or not your cashier notices this, finds it wrong and doesn't give it to you. But the computer will. Thanks again Target!
Yeah, the DVD is in their ad, and is $15 too.

Might have to go and check out what they have for the buy one get one half off deal. Interested in picking up Get Hard and maybe Ex Machina if that's included.

Re: Target deals
Just picked up my final Justified season and Interstellar, both on Blu, for $20 before taxes. Deal of the year for me, thus far.

Went to one Target today and couldn't find two that I wanted. Would've gotten "Teen Beach Movie 2" (since like the first one, they've released it only on regular DVD) if I could've found something to go with it- lots of empty spaces on many shelves already. Have a sealed Spongebob 3D Blu-Ray coming from an Ebay seller.

Re: Target deals
I went to 3 different Targets today. Sadly one Target didn't have the deal. But I got a lot of the new releases that were $14.99 so well worth it. Even finally picked up Guardians which I have been wanting to get for a while but never found it on sale.

Re: Target deals
I don't think a single store can opt out either. Perhaps a specific region (when I did pricing threads). Did jacob_b scan any titles?

Re: Target deals
I don't think there is anything different about that Target than the rest (I live in Orange County and the one that didn't do the deal was Fullerton). There were no signs like the other Targets I went to (there were flyers all over the DVD and blu-ray sections of the one doing it) and when I asked the guy, he said if they don't have a flyer for it, they aren't doing it. I didn't scan anything because it was a lost cause.

If it's in the national ad, I would think they have to do it. It was probably in their computers, whether that guy knew about it or not.

If you bought items it would have worked.

Re: Target deals
I went to 4 Targets yesterday, and all had signage up for the Buy One Get One 50% Off sale. A lot of blu-rays that were supposed to be on sale weren't tagged, so I grabbed a bunch that I was interested in and scanned them.

Every Target I've ever been in has a copy of the weekly sales ad, behind protective glass, displaying every page. There is know way a store can deny you a nationally advertised deal. As long as you're not too far away, I'd go get some money back if I were you.

Re: Target deals

There may be others here as well. We've had a movie cash thread--I'd have to look it up.
Edit: Here's that thread: http://forum.dvdtalk.com/dvd-bargain...ket-guide.html
It's old, but it's had activity within the last 90 days.

Re: Target deals
Went back with some friends and we picked up Justified S5 and S6 and Lucy and Boxtrolls and some other pairs.
We ended up with some Movie Cash for Terminator Genisys and Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. Non of us plan on using this Movie Cash. Which is the best forum to post and try to give all this movie cash away?
