Kinda pisses me off!
Well, if you bought 4 titles on Sunday or later, then perhaps you proved that it isn't true.

I was in there Monday, and while I didn't buy anything, there were B3G1 tags all over the $5 DVDs and BDs

Re: Target deals

Thx Obi-Wan Jabroni and joltman for confirming. Personally, I already own pretty much everything in that section that I want. Just bought Apollo 18 last week, but it was part of my $10 off $40 pickup order, so wouldn't save any money by returning/rebuying.

Will I get savings if I buy 4, but then return 3?

Re: Target deals

Yeah. Anytime Target does a buy whatever get one free, they spread the discount over all of the qualifying items. So you would still end up saving about a buck and change a movie.

Got the 3D edition of 300: Rise of an Empire yesterday. They haven't had a good price on any 3D titles in a while so this was a good surprise. They had the 2D edition of The Lego Movie for $15, but the 3D was still full price.

Re: Target deals

So its only good until September 27th but I was at Target today and saw they had a Temporary Price Drop on Arrow: The Complete First Season on Blu-ray for $19.99. I didn't get it yet but think I'll go back for it. Not sure if other locations have it but it might be worth checking out for those interested.

http://www.target.com/p/turbo-2-disc...1_6&term=Turbo
I found this Blu ray Turbo with pull back racer toy in Target store and price matched it with target.com for $6.36
It also had a free movie ticket for the penguins that is still good for 7.50. I was gonna use it for another movie. Its good until 1/31/2015

They also have the croods with toy for 6.36 on target.com ready to pricematch.

Re: Target deals

Noticed in the Sunday circulars this week that Target is offering a $5 gift card with pre-orders of Game of Thrones on Blu-Ray. Do they give you the price that is offered on release day or do you get charged the current Target price, if you pre-order?

I'm wondering about this too. The deal also applies to The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1, Big Hero 6, and the last Hobbit movie, but I would hope they charge you the price as of release day.

In the past they haven't price matched release week sales. I remember with the first Walking Dead steelbook (season 3 I think) I ended up taking my mailed copy back and buying one from the store because it was so much cheaper.

Re: Target deals

Target.com said Book of Life was out of stock at my store and Mr. Peabody was in stock. I decided since I have a red card with free shipping just to order them. I had to go to Target anyway and it was actually the opposite. Peabody out of stock and plenty of Book of Life. Glad I ordered instead.

Re: Target deals

Is this likely a week-long sale..?

And how do retroactive price adjustments work? Do I just need the receipt?

Yes and yes. It's in the sunday ad so it's all week. Price adjustments just need a receipt.

Re: Target deals

I wish they would do more on classic & art films (my main genres). Even hi-def audio concerts.

Target barely carries anything on Blu-ray beyond very mainstream Hollywood films and the rare independent film with star talent. The next time they carry a Blu-ray concert will be their first.
