I've said this many times before, but it's weird how over a decade this board has gone from being people who understood and appreciated the kinds of films Criterion releases to people who get excited over BD seasons of Duck Dynasty and crap movies like The Expendables. I guess we're "snobs" now to most, but I prefer to think of people who appreciate Criterion as "people with taste." Perhaps "people who like films" vs. "people who want to flex their home theater systems," too.
Anyway, bring on the haters.

I'll admit that the majority of films Criterion has released don't appeal to me, I've only ever owned a handful of their titles, but I still respect the brand and can see why others would enjoy their releases.

I own a number of Criterion releases myself but some people seemingly mortgage their homes during the semi-annual B&N sale. It's like Pokemon, gotta catch'em all!

I was able to apply the 15% off coupon I got today on the Jacques Demy set that I bought on Monday. Got About 10$ back in refundage. Yee-haw.
