The last one is the only blind buy, but I love all of the Fuller films I've seen so far. That's probably the last I'll buy this month. I love these sales, but I usually spend too much. The good thing is that I've lost 10 pounds all ready from not being able to afford eating out.

I blind bought it during the last sale and enjoyed it. It's a nice little noir with some very interesting and inventive scenes.

I think most everyone who participates in these sales usually buys too much. I've actually restrained myself to "only" eight titles this go around.

Last week I blind bought Three Outlaw Samurai, but that was a pretty safe bet as I love chanbara films and I'm a fan of Tetsuro Tamba. So only 2 blind buys over the entire is pretty unusual for me, I normally get way more. Although I did buy the Eclipse set When Horror Comes to Shochiku and I haven't seen any of those yet, I'm looking forward to watching them in October.

Apparently, not all Criterion DVD/BRs are on sale. I was hoping to get Kenji Mizoguchi's Fallen Women set, but it's not marked down 50%. I called BN corporate, but they refused to do anything about it…

Those are the exact ones I wanted to pick up. I had Throne of Blood and Rashomon in my hand, but they were out of Scanners and The Hidden Fortress was a floater, so I put them all back, as I couldn't find a 3rd to be able to use the $8 coupon.
