Seemingly every large Warner box set goes through the same cycle. Release at retail where no one touches it except the desperate. Then pawn them off on Amazon at a slightly reduced weekly sale price. After Amazon, hand them off to WBshop. When that fails, they eventually show up at Costco around Christmas. Every year, like clockwork.

Why can't WB just sell these at a $19.99 price point all the friggin' time. I'd have collected all of these Ultimate Editions by now, and would have spent so much more on just these sets.

What's the difference between the 70th and 75 anniversary boxed sets? I'd like to get the big-ass limited edition boxed set, and if the only difference is a 3-D disc for a movie which never needed to be in 3-D, I'll just get the first one.

I think it's the 3D and the stuff (the flash drive, the medals, the map). I have the 70th but really want the medals. I wish they'd just offer the extras separately-I'd buy them but don't need the discs. I'm with the others, if it gets to the $20 range like other sets like this, I'll buy for the extras, otherwise, the 70th works just fine for me.
