They must be getting hammered, because I'm stuck in limbo waiting for the order to go to Paypal for payment processing.

Well, that's a wrap. They are sold out. My order never processed, so I didn't get in on it.

Re: James Bond 50 complete box set - $39 shipped (All 23 films up to Skyfall)

What the hell- I'm in. Placed my order once, after "processing" about a minute I got a while screen. Went back and saw the item still in my cart and no open orders, so did it again, got the same result but this time when going back it shows I placed the order.

Have had all the Bond movies that were issued on CED (up to View to a Kill) for 20 years and still haven't watched them all, and also have several 80s laserdisc issues of them and haven't watched those either (but I HAVE watched From Russia With Love on Japanese VHD videodisc, as it's one of 5 discs I have on that format!) but still can't turn this down. I know I'm going to be bitching about the changing of the burned-in subtitles too, but screw it this time.

EDIT - Shipping is $2. or if you register with their site first, you get free shipping on the first order. Not sure about sales tax.
I was charged sales tax. Their offices are in NYC.

I was filling out my order and got the order failed screen. Must have ran out. My wife ordered some tank top undershirts awhile back from them. Terribly poor quality, but she got them. I think with this set, that shouldn't be an issue. Hoping you all get them that got an order in! I was hoping to get in on this! Should have checked this site at lunch apparently!

I tried going back twice, because I never even got to the paypal form and when i wanted to add the item to the cart the red letters saying "sold out" popped up. A buddy of mine in Texas scored one. He's the one that told me. His order went through.

A fool and his money are easilly parted...

I wouldn't give these jokers $3. How can Paypal refund the money if 5000 people write with the same complaint about the same product from the same business? Paypal is not a charity.

Shows "Sold Out" now when you click on the green "Buy Now"- my order shows as placed though, so maybe I was the last one. I've only had a few credit card orders get charged with nothing shipped, and always was able to get the charges reversed so not too worried about that.

You went with credit card an were able to get to the final checkout screen? For paypal users there's the extra step of finalizing the order through them.

If they offer coverage against this sort of shady shit (can't comment on nomorerack, because I've never done business with them) then yes, they will refund it from wherever they get the money from. That's the whole point.

My Dad had all the movies on CED when I was a kid. The skipping would drive me bananas with that format. There was a scene in Poltergeist that I never actually saw all the way through until I watched it once it was released on VHS. Some of the Bond films were the same way.

I think I'm going to pass. My friend, the one in Texas, texted me a few minutes ago and said that Paypal canceled the order and sent him a receipt for the transaction. Don't know what that's all about. If it was shady then PP saw it and nipped it in the bud.

I'm annoyed that I found this thread a couple hours too late, but it's in one of those "book" things, and I swore to never buy another one. Sadly, the UK release has the same packaging.

Why would it be? It's not an official Bond film.

I just ordered a set. Already ahve it but I can gift it or resell it.

We have used Nomorerack plenty the last couple years.

It's bascically the same as groupon or Living Social and Amazon Local.

So I went back in and was able to secure a set. I did lose the free shipping discount, so my total was $41 flat. I used PP and got their invoice. We'll see how it goes.

I think I'd rather pay a bit more ($60 was my max for this set) and wait for a sale from a merchant with a better reputation. PayPal or no, this website looks kind of iffy to me. Good luck to all who ordered.
I'm seriously considering this, but as they say, if it looks too good to be true, it is. Will they accept returns? Will this come messed up? If it does, can I return it? This seems way too good to be true, and I can't help but wonder if it is. I don't own any of the Bond flick, this could be a deal to kill for, but I just feel hesitant.

In for one for a gift. Already have mine. Registered first and no shipping and no sales tax! This could be one giant cluster fuck but hey, we can come back here and bitch and moan for awhile (probable) or gloat (less likely).

Checked my Paypal account and it shows "payment completed" so my order went through as of 12 am 1-17. Good luck to us all.

That's why you pay with Paypal. If it comes through all fucked up upon delivery then you file a claim and PP will resolve it. Either nomorerack fixes the problem or PP will give you back your money.
