It's the same, or better, or worse. B&N is also 50% off but they charge tax to more places. But if you are a member you get 10% off but only in stores. B&N usually has coupons available at some point during the sale but they usually block them online for Criterions during the sale and using them in stores can be hit or miss.
Criterion has a loyalty program that gives you a $50 gift card when you reach $500 in purchases.
