The good part about buying from Walmart is you have 90 days if you don't open it which takes us through BF, so I plan to get the 3D for $24.96 and use the $3 DMR coupon (if they don't run OOS before I get around to it). If there's a good BF deal, then I'll return my unopened one I buy this week. $22-ish for a new release 3D Disney BD is about as good as it gets given Disney's purposefully high (and one might say greedy) pricing.

For me $25 is the limit on a new release 3D BD, and as I've said before if a 3D version exists I won't buy the 2D BD for any price (unless it's practically free). 3D is cool. It adds an extra dimension to my viewing and that's worth $5-$10 over the 2D (I prefer $5 of course).
Eh you never know. Sometimes stores pull surprises on Black Friday but the only downside to that is a lot of the really good deals on newer/bigger titles like this are doorbusters which to me isn't worth the hassle. For $20 at Walmart though I'll probably just pick up the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy edition.

If anyone needs the Walmart ad for matching, it was on the back page of today's Parade magazine.

Thanks.. As many times my local stores don't even have items marked at the sale / advertised price! Now I can go to BB price match & rewards coupon for the 3D version.

Best Buy is much better for new releases. You should check them out.

Re: Iron Man 3 Blu-Ray prices?

Looks like TRU might be the cheapest option. If you preorder Monsters University for $1, you get $10 off any other Disney movie. Their ad shows $22.99 for the Blu + DVD version, so $13.99 after you figure in the $1 deposit.

I know they are technically the same company, but do you think the DMR coupon will work for IM3 and other Marvel blus?

Re: Iron Man 3 Blu-Ray prices?

One thing I have notice with Disney is that they hardly ever put their blu rays on sale or any store for less than 19.99 so being 3D with all the price match and sadly using the coupon from Disney is the best opinion I think.

If the store has doubts about the $3 DMR coupon you can just print out or show them the Eligible Titles page on DMR's website. IM3 is featured on there:

Re: Iron Man 3 Blu-Ray prices?

Bought IM3 3D at Wal-mart at 7:30am this morning. They only had about 10 copies.

The register rang it up at $36.96 instead of $24.96. I had to go to Customer Service for a pricematch. Decided not to even try the coupon.

I also hit Target at 8am when it opened, and they had no copies of IM3 3D. (I know it was not in their ad, just wishful thinking for a PM).

Re: Iron Man 3 Blu-Ray prices?

I only found one copy of IM3 3D at Wal-Mart at 11:00 this morning. Went to regular checkout. The clerk examined the disc package, for what I don't know. I gave her the coupon which she examined again without a word. It scanned and that was that.

BTW, I went to Target for something else. Didn't notice any 3D sets on the shelves.

PM'd 3D version at BB this am. Used the $3 coupon from DMR. Used a $20 RZ certificate. $2.53 after certificate.

That's a great deal! Has anyone done this today?

I haven't tried it, but some people at slickdeals are now saying that the $10 isn't coming off, and they're being told that it will come off when they pick up Monsters U (which doesn't have a price yet, and you can't pre-order the 3D version).

That makes a bit more sense. Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks for this. Price matched at BB. Had a $5 certificate and the $3 DMR coupon. Picked it up for 12.78 total. I'm pretty happy with that.

Walmart morons! IM3 is labeled at regular price all over the store. Rings at sale price but absolutely no indication it is on sale at reduced price anywhere in the store.

I've found that to be the case with most new releases at Walmart.

Got the DVD/BR from WMT for 19.99, no digital copy. I think they also had the BR/DVD/DC for 24.99, just didn't want to pay 5 bucks more (didn't like movie THAT much). Didn't see DVD only or 3D.

At my WM the Blu + DVD version and the Blu + DVD + Digital Copy versions were both $19.96 and the 3D combo (which also comes with an MP3 soundtrack download) was $24.96. All were clearly signed and well stocked (except for the two copies of the 3D version). I got a 3D combo. Thanks for the heads-up.

Re: Iron Man 3 Blu-Ray prices?

Hmm, now I'm not sure if the 24.99 was the 3D... What's the Disney DC? A code for Amazon streaming?

I picked up the 3D version, rang up for $24.96 at Wally World. Used the $3 Disney coupon without any issue. I'm okay with picking this up for $21.96 plus tax.

After seeing the WM ad, I decided to go that route rather than DMC. Had to do some explaining to the cashier about Disney owning IM3 when I tried to use a $3 coupon I received via email from Disney.

She did not want to take it since Disney's logo was nowhere to be found. But after talking to another employee and repeating what I had said, the other employee told her to scan it and see if it takes it.

Thanks for that. I snagged the Parade from my parent's paper and had Best Buy match the 3DBLU $24.99 price in the ad on it, then used the $20 RZ cert. I got free from the 1,000 reward zone points dining program offer back in July, and a $5 gift card I got from some deal earlier this year that I've been carrying around in my wallet for months, and got it pretty much for free after all that.
