No, the two local stores are still open. I used to save quite a bit by taking advantage of clearance sales (along with the 'birthday bonus')...also used to buy quite a few used DVDs & CDs from them, but they never seemed to adjust their prices as prices shrank at other stores.

Today fye.com spammed me with over 200 emails stating my G.O.T. order has been canceled. This is not an exaggeration. I had to delete over 200 emails, and was friggin PISSED. Every 2 minutes from around 9am to 5pm they sent a new email. I have added them to my blocked list now, and will never order from fye again.

Thanks for the heads-up! I like the Lannister cover...but the Greyjoy may end up being scarcer. I bought both Stark & Targareyn covers last year and sold them for a nice profit. I liked them, but not enough to keep either of them when prices soared on the limited covers. I'd rather have a bonus disc with extra content than the exclusive cover, classy as they might be.

Those of us who bought Season One last year were expecting others to have it for around $35, which is Amazon's price with free shipping and no tax. That's why FYE's price (around $33 with tax and shipping added) wasn't that unusual and wasn't an "obvious price mistake". Well, maybe for FYE, but not for Target, Amazon, BB, or Wal-Mart.

Just reading the bluray.com reviews for the video/audio on GOT is enough to make one salivate. HBO continues its streak of high quality high-def releases.

I assume it's the Q & A from the Museum of Television & Radio? Target seems to license those things and they're usually a pretty good watch, at least once. I suppose it'll be Target for me too. Too bad I already pre-ordered at Best Buy, but it's no big deal to cancel it I suppose. (FWIW, instead of a cool keychain this time, the Best Buy pre-order bonus was a Blu Ray of "The North Remembers" - Season 2, Episode 1).
