Absolute nightmare today, but with a good ending. Out of the 5 titles I chose, 1 was 16.99 originally, and only 1 of the other 4 showed up as 9.99 Apparently the system was not recognizing the sale prices. A girl was looking on the kiosk telling me they weren't on sale. Then someone at the register verified through the RSS system, whatever that is. Next I stood in the customer service line for about 15 mins. Fortunately, he didn't make me go up to the register and just let me buy they at the CS counter. He had to get manager override for all 3 of the discrepancies. So in the end, it worked out, but what a hassle. Should have been a 30 min trip and I was there for about 75 mins.

I'm jealous that you had a Best Buy store that had those in stock! Both of my local stores didn't have it.

Last trip for $10.xx after coupons and a $5 RZ certfiicate (I got denied on NxNW price match and coupon and wasn't in the mood to fight)

Yeah, I tried to find North by Northwest at 4 different Best Buys multiple times but never had any luck. Checked 2 of them yesterday for the Die Hard deal but none of them had them in stock.

Out of stock-ness and YMMV are the 2 hallmarks of Best Deny. It's unfortunate they have so little in their stores which is why I only did a limited number of U&S. I did do a few Express Lane orders, but not many. It's hard to get too excited about paying $5 + $1 for a DT trade-in for BDs of movies most of which I already have on DVD.

Struggled to find something to use my last coupon on.. Settled on No Strings Attached since it was $5.

Not a great sale for me. Most of what I wanted stayed out of stock in every BB I visited.

Never went back even though I needed a price match on Ted. Am always so excited to get rid of some old crap and end up replacing it with new crap. Very disappointing when the shelves are empty 3 days into the sale

Decent sale for me as I picked up most of what I wanted. The only one I missed out on was Planes, Trains and Automobiles. I guess I could include Zodiac in that list too but I still have the DVD and can wait on that one. What really drove down the cost were those RZ points that they gave you on the facebook polls.

I picked up 18 bd this time but I'm not sure I'll pick up as much next time as Best Buy seems to be reducing the amount of available BD in stores. I just looked at some upcoming releases and a lot of them are online only with the 8 digit SKU number.

I ordered a lot of what I wanted online in the beginning of the month, returned it, and rebought it with the coupons. I'll be doing that the very first day next time!

Romy & Michele's HS Reunion has an 8 digit SKU. It wasn't ringing up, so they overwrote it or did something and it worked.

Had gone back to make one last purchase yesterday. Today, I took the movie out of the bag and noticed that for the second time, a cashier put the receipts in my bag with the coupon still attached. Went back tonight and bought Cruel Intentions for $4.99 to replace my flipper dvd.

Same here. I ended up using one coupon.

The only time that the Austin Powers 3-pack was in stock was when it was priced $19.99. (I traded in one Austin Powers DVD, and I nearly traded in another.)

Also, at the store near my place, about half of the $9.99 section was empty every time I visited.

Lame.

ok quick question. I realized I bought a movie I already owned. Now that U&S is over how does BB handle this? Do I only get $4.99 in credit and lose the $5 credit of my trade in or will they give me $9.99 in credit. The movie I bought obviously is still sealed in shrink wrap,

In other news, I managed to get Outpost, Inception, and I Saw The Devil for $12.97. Another Best Buy was MUCH MORE helpful than the retard I had at Cascade Station.
