Any hints on Finding Nemo sale prices?

I currently have this on pre-order from Amazon for a whopping $27. Hoping for either a Disney coupon on big price drop soon.

Has anyone heard anything?

Re: Any hints on Finding Nemo sale prices?

Is Toys R Us doing something??

I normally never bother with their pre-order deals b/c:

1) They're too complicated
2) I usually only want 1 movie, and
3) The closest Toys R Us to me is the one & Times Square & for obvious reasons, I'd RATHER not deal with that place...

But now I have a $20 gift card for Toys 'R Us... and there's a few 3D Blu titles I'm interested in (Finding Nemo, Up & Brave).

So any deals?? Or advice for multiple Disney Blus at Toys R Us?! I'm not so experienced with this store...

Was there an early AMZ coupon? I must've missed it. Hoping for a $25 price....

Yes - they had an $8 coupon, but it was for the Ultimate edition only - which brings it to about the same price as the standard version.

Re: Any hints on Finding Nemo sale prices?

I have a pre-order for the 3D version at Amazon with an $8 coupon that currently brings it to 23.49.

I also have a pre-order from TRU (picked up the card with purcase of brave) that will knock 5 bucks off of whatever thier price is.

What I'd really like is a Disney coupon, plus another pre-order from TRU (Peter Pan?), but I don't know if they have any new pre-order cards out.

Re: Any hints on Finding Nemo sale prices?

There was a one day sale at DeepDiscount for $20. Though the status is showing backordered now. I cancelled my Amazon order that had the $8 coupon, if DD cancels my order I'll be pissed.

Brave dropped a few bucks in the last few days so I am hoping that this will as well...

I can't believe that BB is charging $5 for the finding nemo stuffed animals. They used to give that type of crap out for free with purchase.

Ouch! That's still about $10 too high in my opinion.

DMR should have a $5 coupon available by the end of the week since the BBY ad shows that it will have a $5 coupon.

Worst case scenario at TRU -- PM BBY at $29.99 - $5 Preorder Deposit for Buying Brave - $5 DMR MQ + add a piece of Candy and use the $20 Groupon (essentially a $10 discount). I'll walk out with Candy and a Movie with the change from my pocket. Basically a net Price of $15 (plus a piece of candy). I'm still hoping for someone to have the 3D for $27.99
I didn't buy Brave there, but I'm still thinking TRU is the best option. $24.99 with coupon, so $4.99 with the Groupon (14.99 out of pocket). Plus, I don't want to get stuck with the Groupons, so I should use it while I have something to buy. I did order from Amazon with the coupon, but this works out better, so I may cancel that, or let a friend have it.

EDIT: OOPS! Or I'll just keep the 19.99 copy from DD which I don't remember ordering, but just shipped...

I don't follow prices as closely as others on here, but don't know that I've ever seen a Pixar blu-ray below $20.

I think I ended up paying about $10 per TS Blu Ray with all of the stacked coupons being offered back then.

Re: Any hints on Finding Nemo sale prices?

With coupon stacking and TRU pre-orders, I've gotten plenty of Disney/Pixar BD's for less than 10.

And over this past weekend, it wasn't hard to find Brave for 8.96

Brave for $8.96 this past BF.

Here's hoping the $5 coupon will work on the non-3D version at Target (it did in the past, most recently for Cinderella and Brave).

No idea what the TRU price is. I was quoting hariseldon, who reminded us that they will pricematch other stores. So that is the BB price, after coupon...

OK here is my dilemma.
29.99 (BBY PM) - $5 Nemo pre-order - $5 DMR coupon brings the total down to 19.99 (.01 shy of being able to use the $20 Groupon). Maybe if it is rung up a different way, it will work, but I may try to return my pre-order this week so I don't have to worry about it.

EDIT: Is a groupon treated or as a discount to the purchase. Because GC's can include tax whereas the discount to the purchase may require a minimum amount.

Off the subject: Why is the abbreviation for Best Buy BBY -- is that the stock exchange identifier or is it just because it is the prefix for all online orders.

It is a discount to the purchase. I bought something for 24.99 the other day. It was discounted to 4.99, and I paid the tax on 4.99.

As for BBY, I believe it is because BB was used for Blockbuster. Granted, nobody talks about BB anymore, so I now just use BB for Best Buy...

That's 27.99 for 3D. It's 22.99 for 2D. The $5 Disney coupon will "probably" work at Target.

From what I read on the TRU groupon threads, getting TRU to pm and take the groupon coupon requires manager approval since they only allow one or the other.
