Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc. There are glitches where sometimes an excluded item will be allowed but assume that is the exception to the rule

Max 3 GC on a single online order.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order

Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept
The long standing Free 60 day Trial Offer was discontinued in late May 2016

Mine renewed on the 10th, so I emailed CS about the promo for this weekend, and they refunded me $26. So you may just ask them to do that.

Thanks for that. At $15, it's not worth waiting for a Black Friday price of $6. I can watch it now, and again.

I'm just waiting for Straight Outta Compton to go down to $15, as well.

I'm half tempted to pick up Fantastic Four just to see it but $10 is my price point on it.

Just go to Redbox. It's not worth more than the $1.50 it cost there.

Worst case, FF will be sub $10 at Black Friday for sure.

I always borrow movies from the library to see if it's a must-buy now or I can wait for a possible Black Friday deal. I think the trailers for the Martian or scenes from all the entertainment shows I watch just ruined it for me because it wasn't as riveting as I hoped and the ending predictable so I guess I'm waiting. The performances were very good though.

True. I guess the way I justify it is that buying the Blu-ray for $10 or so would be no worse than paying for a ticket at the theater and I'd own it. I just very rarely rent anymore.

Yeah. Honestly if Fox had been smart they would have just released it at $10 right away. It would have probably led to a lot more blind buys or impulse buys.

But you didn't pay to see it at the theatre so you probably thought it wasn't worth $10 to do so.

Yeah. Its really more of a curiosity thing because I wind up watching most comic book films at some point. I may just wait for it to be available on one of the premium networks or something though. I was just saying had I gone to it in theaters (which I almost did but ultimately decided to wait for the home video release) that a ticket would have cost close to $10 anyways.

I found it WAY more enjoyable than others...its a different but solid take on the FF. I'm just sorry we don't get to see Josh Trank's original vision of the film.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

I would bet good money that FF4 will show up on HBO or elsewhere fairly soon. Hopefully its failure will teach studios that treating decades-old comic book properties with no respect is a losing proposition.

I am going to go completely opposite on that. I liked the much maligned FF movies that came before the most recent one. They weren't perfect by any means but much more enjoyable that the most recent movie. The new movie is a chore to get through and is really just bland. It is far less than a "solid take on the FF." Way less.

But to each his own. But I would recommend it as a rental and NOT a blind buy.

Sorry. Back to the bargains.
