Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc. There are glitches where sometimes an excluded item will be allowed but assume that is the exception to the rule
Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Max 3 GC on a single online order.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order
Return period is 14 days after delivery (possibly 30 days for members though I've never tried)
Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept
The long standing Free 60 day Trial Offer was discontinued in late May 2016

That offer is a joke... in a good way.

I ordered Gravity after midnight late Thursday night (technically Friday/yesterday morning). Chose the delayed shipping to get the MP3 credit and saw estimated arrival was 12/8.

Movie was delivered today.
Credit was applied this afternoon.

I don't see that happening. I finally caved and bit for the Bryan Adams Reckless Blu. Added a $7.99 Godzilla and got the free shipping. Paid $25 total for the two because I had a $15 GC, so I'm happy.

I was just talking to my g/f about how I was breaking every purchase into separate "send it whenever" items in order to rack up the credits and wondering why they didn't have a means to spot that multiple orders are coming to the same place and bundle them up. After hanging up I go to my email and see a pile of notices of promo credits being applied and then I open this:

"We wanted to let you know that we have shipped your items. We've combined "Frozen (Two-Disc Blu-ray ..." and 9 other items from your orders together in the same package."

Estimated delivery date: Tuesday, December 2, 2014

It came in at 5:17 pm meaning that something I ordered not four hours earlier was on the way along with 9 other items and it's going to arrive on the 2nd business day. Well, if they insist.

I've got $6 in credits so far and a few more should be forthcoming. I've always said that Black Friday week has been when Prime pays for itself and after last year's lackluster deals and the price hike this year, I was tempted to discontinue it but this week and the $20 discount for pre-ordering the Fire TV Stick and these credits have made up for it. Hoping to get a Kindle book for almost nothing when I'm done milking this cow.

For those who missed it, Best Buy has it for the same $3.99 price. Backordered on web, you can still order it or you can do an in store pickup if your local store still has it.

Is it sad that I got titanic just cuz of the features? The movie is fine but...the features are much more interesting.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

I have a lot of movies where I bought them solely for the extras and making-ofs. I was gunning for The Raid 2, but the movie just plain sucks save for the fight scenes. I do want to buy it for the extras on how they did the fight scenes, but it sure isn't worth $11.99. But I'll buy sub $10.

I'm doing the same thing, even done it with $1.99 movies and CDs. I think I got $9 coming to me so far.

OK, so I'm not weird (or at least alone) for doing this. I bought the extended version of The Hobbit: Part One of Many just for the making-of stuff because Peter Jackson has the best BTS crew on his films. I even bought the set of Production Diaries from King Kong and the 3-DVD version to get the extras for that stinking pile of monkey fur and just bought the LOTR box to get those extra discs that weren't in the DVD release, though at least those movies are good.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

HTTYD2 was gone in 3 seconds... The wait list for the $9.99 BD/DVD/DC version filled in 2 seconds more.

The $19.99 3D/BD/DC version was full just as fast with the wait list lingering a bit longer.

Crazy!

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

Whew! Was able to snag both Django (which is the multi-disc set, not the bare bones one Best Buy had) and Transformers off my phone. I hit Django first and when I backed out to the list screen in the app, Transformers was leaping to something like 90% claimed, but I got it. Whew!

That's it for me AFAIK. Thank you, good night!

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

We have Downton Abbey 1-5 BD Set and Sopranos Complete BD Series today on Amazon UK.

Any guesses on the Sopranos price? I have been holding out for a really good deal on this.

I also want Abbey but not sure what a good price is. may $55-$60 USD?

Will there be more deals for blu-rays on Amazon or is that basically it?
