Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc. There are glitches where sometimes an excluded item will be allowed but assume that is the exception to the rule

Max 3 GC on a single online order.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order

Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

Deadwood should be around $39.99 and LOTR Trilogy EE should be $19.99. These titles have been around for ages.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

Honestly, I haven't tracked pricing of any HBO show on BD, other than Game of Thrones. Whats the lowest price Deadwood has ever had?

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

There are two entries on Amazon for Deadwood. Camelcamelcamel sez $49.99 on January 2nd, 2014 is the all-time low for one and that $59.99 is the lowest for the other.

If you don't mind importing from the UK (and probably getting a different box), you can get all three seasons for for around $37.80.

Damn, that was quick. I guess I ordered it right before the price went back up. I ordered it about 15 minutes ago.

It's weird, when I add to my wish list it shows the $9.96 price, but in my cart it shows the full normal price.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

At the time I posted it was dead, it showed 22.99. The link underneath showed "9 new from 9.99", but if you clicked it, it wasn't there at that price. I've been away for a couple of hours, but it's still showing 22.99 for me, the "9 new" link also reflects that price now.

I was able to pricematch the Target exclusive with the bonus disc for that price. There is also a 20% off cartwheel that I totally forgot about until after I left.

I'll probably just try and stop by Walmart today, or wait until Black Friday since I know it's in some of the ads.

It can also be ordered from walmart.com for in-store delivery, so no need to hurry to the store. And, since it is in the printed ad, you can use that to get a match at other stores.

Curious that Amazon pulled the match so quickly. They may have a future LD planned.

I must be getting old. Saw the deal earlier and bought it. Then I read this post and it made me realize that I bought the exclusive at Target not 36 hours ago.

I know you can't avoid rebuying things, Trevor, but that may be a record for you.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

I wonder why Amazon has not released a BF Calendar. I've already purchased quite a few items at BB and Walmart as you can't just keep hoping and expecting they'd price match it. I would get it if they add stuff while price matching competitors, but a calendar of sorts is helpful. Perhaps they've had discussions on pros and cons of having a calendar. For me it's not just as much fun and I think it will drive away some sales from Amazon.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

I guess this is what they're calling the "calendar."

http://www.amazon.com/b/ref=s9_acss_...d_i=8020391011

Thing is, the music version is what we're used to: Future deals and their time slots. I don't know whether they just don't want to show their hand yet or what. The video games calendar shows some future titles as well.
