Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc. There are glitches where sometimes an excluded item will be allowed but assume that is the exception to the rule

Max 3 GC on a single online order.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order

Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept

The Blu Rays are a significant upgrade over the badly transferred old DVD issues of a decade ago.
Thanks! I think I'll hold off, since collecting these here is hell with the rights being divided all over the place. I might go for a complete set down the line that's surely to come in the UK once series 13 airs.

re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

Was glad to see a semi-decent price on this one: Harvey BD/DVD/DC, which has been sitting in my cart for many weeks, and which I actually ordered when it was $15.49, but cancelled before it shipped.

The current price of $12.99 is good enough for me on this James Stewart classic.

Thanks for the heads up. I've had that one on my wishlist most of the year, but I don't check prices as often as I should. I haven't seen it before-- but I've heard good things...

I've been thinking about the Daimajin set for $9.49...but remember getting burned on the Gamera films last year (huge price drops about a month or two after they were released). Anyone's Spidey Sense another price drop before the end of the year? ---Peter

There might be one, but the Daimajin set's MSRP is $5 more than Gamera, so this might be as low as it gets.

Dr. Strangelove dropped to $9.99 and I picked it up. It should be a digibook. I've never seen it in a regular blu ray case.

I don't even own the DVD.

Apparently there are 4 different versions of the movie.

This release dropped the extras from the previous stand alone blu-ray releases too, I think.

But not on BD. I think that double-feature is the only one. I searched amazon.co.uk as well, and they don't have one either. Didn't search the rest of the world...

I recently watched my first Mill Creek disc: the Billy Bathgate/Blaze double feature. While I will agree that their reputation is generally not good, I won't trash a disc without watching it, and I have to admit that Billy Bathgate (for which I'd bought the disc) looked surprisingly decent. Blaze, which I'd never seen before, was not as impressive, but this seemed to be a source issue and not the fault of the encode. (The print used for the master appeared somewhat worn, with frequent spots of minus density throughout).

For the five bucks or so I paid, I got a movie I didn't think I'd see on BD in better than acceptable quality, and a second flick as a "bonus feature." Based on this I'd take a chance on one of their discs again, if they release a film I really want.
