I think they may have the wrong image up by mistake. The item description only reads Blu-ray, and there's an item listing for the 3D version for $31.99: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...29052&csid=_61

I've taken screen grabs of the cover art just in case they try to send me the standard Blu-ray version and I have to make a fuss.

It appears you were right. I checked the item on the list from the shipping email I received. its the 2D Bluray, not 3D.

I just received the disc and it is a 3D version. It actually has both 2D and 3D on the same disc. One note is the disc says "For Promotional Use Only. Not for rent or Sale" so they are selling these discs against the studios wishes!

Does this blu ray have all the extra features. There is another version that has TWO blu rays and a dvd / digital copy.

Right now I would rather have extras on blu ray then a barebone 2D/3D

I did a search by the listing of the mfg part number: 043396355781 :which happens to also be the UPC for this disc and it is the same UPC that is listed for their $31.99 3D version and that part number came up at Amazon.com, so it should have the same features as the retail version? Can anybody confirm the specials.. If not then I will take up the "Google Trusted Stores" as a disputed item.

Or as "SONY" has done in the past when they end a promotion for a product they break apart the items and sell them to a big discount through a single source, and since Tiger Direct is listed on the Sony web site to be authorized Sony re-sellers, I am sure they would not want to loose that connection by selling promotional products with out Sony's ok first.

Or as was pointed out to me else where, the disc's could be marked that way due to a sales promotion such as Wal-Mart will mark your disc's you might have converted to VUDU, using their "Disc to Digital" offering.
