The printout that was posted here showed the $ and not the British Pound sign, so I doubt it...it's possible they just changed their minds - the same printout showed Firefly for $9.99 and the Peanuts Holiday Collection for $9.99...have either of those deals happened yet?

It's just SO easy to fake something like this though.

No. It appears that it was probably a hoax. The only thing from that flyer to have come true is that Bond 50 was a DotD on Nov. 24, and even then, the pricing was wrong.

Well it WAS originally posted on that "other" Blu-ray forums site. No one here would be so cruel.

Hoping for $50 Farsacape blu tomorrow!
Is that just a hope or is there any chance of this?

Why not? It's posted as being tomorrow's deal of the day. The set was on sale for $59.99 earlier in the week. A $50 sale price is not a stretch.

The DVD set is posted to be the daily deal tm. I am guessing 40-50 on that. If 40 then hopefully 50 on blu? I am just spitballing though.

Crap. Missed Red vs. Blue. Caught the first season when it originally came out during college and really liked it. Didn't realize that it has been chugging along for so long. Maybe next year.

If you have Amazon Prime you can watch most of the seasons for free. I had never heard of it until I started watching it on there. This could be the funniest shit ... ever!

I would have liked to have had that Blu-Ray set though! I'll just have to settle for the case of headlight fluid that I got in on.

The Indiana Jones blu-ray set went from $49.99 to $64.96.

I remember the Bond 50 set went up to $209 and then the drop to $99.99 on Saturday so maybe something similar might happen to the Indy set?

For those that had Sherlock Holmes price problems. They appear to be offering it again for $34.99 at 4:20pm PST Monday.... if this is the same collection. I wasn't looking at it before so I'm not sure, just knew that some people were upset.

Munificent blessings upon your house! Let's hope they honor that price this time!

(Especially as I gave my DVDs away to my dad over Thanksgiving.)

The date shift might actually support my theory that their stock arrived late. Who really knows, of course.

I do wonder what happened here, though. Since the price changed in the calendar at the last minute, there was some thought put into it. Perhaps they were expecting stock from the vendor and didn't get it, and any other stock they could have sold would have been at a significantly higher cost to them?

It's not unusual for Amazon prices to fluctuate like crazy.

Eh ... by all accounts, Farscape on Blu is a minimal upgrade over DVD (it's just an upscaled transfer from PAL tape). If you don't have it in any form, $59.99 is still a great price.

Now if Sherlock Holmes goes back to $56.99 during the sale, we know someone at Amazon is messing with us.

I was considering the complete Dark Shadows, but I think the Criterion sale wiped me out. And realistically, I wouldn't have gotten around to watching those for quite some time. $299.99 is a good price, but it's been lower. I think holding out for at least 50% off MSRP is reasonable.

Where do you see this? I've looked at the calendar 4 times now, plus the regular lightning deals in the goldbox, but I dont see Holmes listed...

I see it on the Calendar:

..but I don't see it on the deals slider.

Thanks, I was looking at the deals slider. Bad sign if it is missing there. Perhaps it wont be 34.99 after all...

Yeah, but I've never known a lightning deal to go UP in price. I've seen them decrease many times.

Cyber Monday is an illusion. I don't see any new deals worth mentioning. 18.99 digibooks is not much of a deal.

Leave It to Beaver is the only other thing I'm interested in. Other than that, I'm done until TDKR is released.
