Hopefully Amazon matches some of those $3.50 and $7.99 blurays

Re: Black Friday 2012 - Best Buy Ad

I am curious for the other $3.99 blus but $7.99 doesn't really excite me after trade and save $5 Blu deals how I got Mission Impossible Ghost which is in the $7.99 section. Also depending on the titles is $9.99 for tv shows really exciting? I try to pay no more then that for tv seasons. Maybe if the most current release of ABC shows and combining with $10 coupons making it free expect for tax. Shows in the ad have already been $9.99 ie Walking dead and Justified since that's what I paid at Target after xmas sale. The $7.99 for Sims 3 seems like a good deal and I brought two expansions in a Toy R Us deal for $17.01.
Am really after movies, tv shows and maybe Sims 3.

Re: Black Friday 2012 - Best Buy Ad

Hopefully BB will put alot of these prices online. Some good stuff. Most of the ones in the ad will probably be PM'd by Amazon, but I'm sure there will be instore stuff that's worth the trip --- but not the wait in line.

If the trend continues of moving up the BF, then it will totally consume Thanksgiving.

Re: Black Friday 2012 - Best Buy Ad

Seems there will be more titles than the sampling in the ad. I don't see anything I need yet. Some of the TV prices are pretty nice. Too bad I don't need one right now.

As has been mentioned, some of the $7.99 titles could have been had for $4.99 during the trade-in promos.

Re: Black Friday 2012 - Best Buy Ad

Maybe the Lawrence of Arabia box set will show up on Thanksgiving, like Ben Hur did last year.

Unless I can order on line I don't buy. I have refused to go to the stores on Black Friday the last few years. People are just too crazy.

Is there a list of the titles mentioned in the sale?
"over 50 titles" and "over 140 titles"

Still other stores we don't know about. Target, WalMart, Fry's and Amazon
Does not mean it will happen, but for sure does not look like at Best Buy.

I've been thinking/hoping the same thing.

Picked it up for $49.99 at BB last week, not bad for 3 classic movies and 1 that is still entertaining.

Re: Black Friday 2012 - Best Buy Ad

Not bad, BR movie for $3.99/$7.99 not bad at all.

Hate Black Friday when I see BRs that I paid at least 2x the price for.

Got to set yourself a price point and stick to it, and more importantly live with it if the price goes down lower

Re: Black Friday 2012 - Best Buy Ad

I figure this will be good for a $8 copy of Cabin In The Woods at the least.

Any Blus past that, or $2 DVDs, depends on the titles involved once the "and more" becomes available.

Usually not. Just limited to what's in the stores. But there have been plenty of exceptions in the past.

I've been very lucky the last two years on ordering what I wanted for Black Friday from bb.com on Thanksgiving Day; same prices, no lines-- and I got to sleep in.

[That being said, I'm nowhere near the level of buying that many are here, so maybe "lucky" is the right word for my experience.]

Good for them. Not a whole lot that I would want to get, but they seem to be stepping up.

Re: Black Friday 2012 - Best Buy Ad

I hope this is good online, I need Fringe season 4 and I'm sure there are some $4 blus that will interest me. They screwed up last year by not price matching the website in store.

Don't forget, for Reward Zone Premier Silver members, they usually have early online buying opportunities (with limited quantities) for Black Friday items. Watch your e-mails.
