Same here, but unfortunately it expires on Dec 16. May go in store just to see what exactly is on sale this week.

Barnes & Noble appears to trash slipcovers. Weird habit.

Is there anything special about the Sky Captain re-issue? As I recall, the original blu-ray dropped some of the special features from the DVD version, and some reviewers didn't feel the HD quality was all that striking. One of my favorite films I've been holding off on upgrading. --Peter

Nope, just a reissue from Warner since Paramount discontinued it.

I agree for the most part. When you can stack coupons + membership discount on top of sales you start to realize a decent savings.

Re: Barnes & Noble sale- 40% off all Blu-ray titles starting 11/18 or 19

Yeah it seems the better deal is with stuff that wouldn't usually be discounted, like foreign or indie films. I still had the 20% online coupon and used that to get the Kill List along with O Brother Where Art Thou as a last minute christmas gift.

Some titles that were at decent prices include:

The Host
Let the Right One In
Audition
No Country for Old Men
Chinatown
Bangkok Knockout
El Topo

I used the $8 off coupon and the $5 off a $50 purchase coupon to get the big Lawrence of Arabia set for under $45. Seemed like a good price.

ETA - it was $40.12 before taxes.

Not seeing much either as some of the ones I am interested in are not showing up @ 40% off online. May order the Pearl Jam Twenty 3-disc set re-release($22.07 after 20% code) and sell my 1-discer.

Is this for all blu-rays in-store? Or is it just a specific list of movies like it is on the website?

Had my first shoot down on an $8 coupon for my membership not being purchased between xxx and xxx. Unbelieveable.

It's all blu-rays in store. I specifically asked the lady that was working the electronics department that before purchasing LoA.

Re: Barnes & Noble sale- 40% off all Blu-ray titles starting 11/18 or 19

By using the 30% off coupon they sent out this week, along with the 10% membership discount, there's some really good deals to be had here. Picked up Pitch Perfect as a gift for 13.22, and got Annie Hall for myself for 9.45. Also wanted to pick up Killer Joe and Arbitrage as well (both of which would have only been 9.45 each), but my local store didn't carry either of them in Blu-Ray, which surprised me.

I tried for Killer Joe as well, but was told it was something I'd need to order as the stores weren't carrying it. Ended up with the Scream Factory release of The Island for $10.35.
