Another BD title to add:

Gary Moore & Friends: One Night in Dublin - A Tribute to Phil Lynott

Well worth the 99 cents if just for (the late) Moore's killer rendition of "The Boys Are Back in Town" (with Thin Lizzy guitarist Scott Gorham) http://youtu.be/97DM-xFBj48

.

Checked for the BD but stored didn't have it. None within a reasonable distance anyway. Their system still said $0.99 on the kiosk. So I'm assuming this pricing is still in.

Tried to order the Deluxe Help dvd set, associate said order wouldn't go through. but they had one in stock! It wasn't on the floor, had to wait for another associate to go in back and check, sure enough, it was marked $9.99 which I would've gladly paid, but it rang up 99 cents. Awesome! $124.99 list set for $1.07. Thanks for the heads up!

I managed to find only one item from that list in stock at my local BB--the Monterey Pop blu-ray. The girl at the counter did a double take when she saw the price. I said they were on clearance, and she said, "but for a dollar?!?" Then I said, "I heard there were a lot more that Best Buy was clearance out, but I couldn't find them," to which she nodded and said, "if we ever had them in stock!"

She hesitated concluding the transaction, and the whole time I kept worrying the price would go back up spontaneously to $50.

I ordered (from an in-store kiosk): Tupac Live at the House of Blues, Jeff Beck's Roll 'N' Roll Party, and Shine a Light. $3.14 shipped :-)

Thanks to Brent L and Perkinsun Dzees for pointing them out.

Is anyone else having problem using the in-store stock check feature for items that won't ship? The little indicator just blinks and blinks and never tells the information.

Re: Monterey Pop: Criterion Collection - $0.99 @ Best Buy B&M

Thanks for this thread! I went to Best Buy earlier today & ordered 3 copies of the Rolling Stones' Shine a Light on Blu-ray for 99 cents a pop. And free shipping too! Awesome deal! Now I have a couple extras for spare Christmas gifts too!

This makes up for being shut out of the Monterey Pop deal earlier in the week!

Anyone get an extra Monterey Pop or able to get one for .99? My local BB can't get it. Ordered other things fine but not that. Will pay for shipping +extra for your trouble. Thanks!

Monterey Pop Blu rang up for me at 69.99 at the register. Needless to say, I didn't buy it.

Re: Monterey Pop: Criterion Collection - $0.99 @ Best Buy B&M

I've managed to order a few of these from the only store in my area that still has a kiosk. I just didn't want to sit there with a BB employee and search all the titles I was interested in to see which ones they still had. Got Jeff Beck, Shine a Light and Primal Scream blu rays, plus Help!, AC/DC Let There Be Rock, and Queen Making of Night at the Opera on DVD. Pretty good haul for $6. Funny because the store actually had a copy of Let There Be Rock on DVD, but it rang up as $14.99. Just got a shipping notice this morning for Jeff Beck and Help!.

Really wanted the Gary Moore Tribute to Phil Lynott but that one was not available. Anyway, thanks very much to the OP for alerting to this deal. BB does these clearances every once in a while, I got a three-disc live Who set on DVD for .99 a while back.

Just got Jimi in the mail. It only let me buy the one. Surprised to see it isn't in a blue case.

It should be in a normal Criterion Blu-Ray case, just like their other releases. At least mine is.

It looks like this is over for the most part. I was just in store and almost everything was at the normal higher price, but some of the items that are now out of stock are still listed at $0.99. I let the system reset about three or four times as well, no changes each time. I may go back after work just to check it again.

Same here. I managed to find a kiosk at the Irvine store, but every title I pulled up on the list was either regular price or out of stock. Would have loved to grab a handful of these titles at such a bargain price. Better luck next time...

My other Criterion (Benjamin Button) is in a blue blu-ray case, the pics I see on Criterion all seem to have blue blu-ray cases, but this is a clear case with squared-off edges. Looks like this.

I further confirm the death of most of these deals. I let the computer reset a few times and accessed the system several times for extended periods over two hours. Drat!

Benjamin Button was more of a Paramount release with the Criterion name slapped on if I'm not mistaken. Criterion Blu-Rays normally come in those clear cases.

^ This, all the blus I ordered direct from CC during their sale earlier this year either were those wider clear cases, or custom sized digipak style (Night Of The Hunter Seven Samurai etc)
