They had a lot of those Shudder exclusives but on DVD at my store. Like Scare Package, Tigers are not afraid, Yummy and others.

I'm not sure Scare Package is even worth a dollar. It's a low-rent horror anthology with far more misses than hits.

OMG - Scare Package is horrible. I gave up on even fast forwarding through it, and I'm very forgiving.

Sounds like the kind of thing I'd buy just to see how bad it was- but not even going to any Dollar Tree stores now since I'm out of shelf space, especially not going to waste it on more regular DVDs.

Scare Package is filled with what resembles "horror" segments slapped together in a couple weekends by groups of friends with no particular filmmaking talent. It aired on SHUDDER.

I haven't watched my DVD of it yet. But the blu ray version sold out in a day on Hamilton during the last drop. So some people must be blind buying it?

Since Covid, I'm probably going to both DT & BL about 10% as often as I did prior. It just isn't worth the risk, especially when I have at least 1500 dvd's & 30 blu's I haven't yet watched.

If you have pre-existing conditions, that could be a good idea. But I don't see how BL is worse than the grocery store. When I go to Big lots, it is about the same experience as the grocery stores.

If those aren't blind buys, my last shred of hope for humanity is gone.

The Big Lots I visit rarely have many customers, while Dollar Trees are always so busy I've walked out before instead of waiting 20 minutes in line.

Had a road trip to take today and stopped by a few stores on my way. Each had tons of stuff. Found a few DVDs of interest. One new BD I hadn't spotted before which I discovered in multiple locations: The extended cut of Hercules (2014)

Did you guys watch it with the Joe Bob Wrap around? I really liked Scare Package, you gotta be into parody though, it's absolutely not a serious anthology. Fans of PG & Dude Bro Massacre 3 would probably be into it.

Its pretty much a DVD fest in most stores around me, Still found some BDs hiding in the dump and this was the first purchase since the 25% price bumpFor the first time, found a stash of CDs as well. I love collecting soundtracks and found the following 3

New stock, but nothing good at my local stores. Would love those soundtracks or Shudder films.

Would love to see those soundtracks at the St Louis stores.

Gobs and gobs of the same old crummy DVD’s at my local DT. No new BR :(

Visited one Dollar Tree which had nothing. No CDs, no nothing.

The Grocery Store is essential. I have over 1k films I haven't watched. I'm also starting to drive an extra 15 miles to a wealthier (AND SAFER) part of town for groceries than the ghetto I live in.

I found Justified Season 1 Bluray recently (Chicago)
A few interesting dvds but also a lot of old stuff that is not moving.

Hit dt last weekend. Still had tons of stuff from the last batch. Nothing of note that hasn't been mentioned.
$1.25 at the dt by my home.

$1.25 is the new price for most everything at Dollar Tree nationwide.

don't know if it's a country wide rollout at the same time. It was already $1.25 here in CA but late Dec, I was traveling in NM and it was still a dollar there. Heard from a store employee that they will rename the store to Dollar Plus or something like that

Re: Dollar Tree BLU Rays!

Came across a location with a fairly healthy stock of DVDs and even a few CDs, the first time I've come across any CDs. The CDs were far more interesting but I did get Justified Season Three on BD. There weren't many Blu-rays beyond one of the Patriots Super Bowls and a couple Echo Bridge cheapie titles.
