^ Did you use the same online account? The same credit card? The fine print on the coupon says, "This coupon can be redeemed online at BN.com and is valid once per customer, per billing address." That would be interesting if you can in fact use it multiple times.

I picked up...

Citizen Kane $12.59 ($17.99 - 30% off)
Bonnie and Clyde $12.49
Sub Total: $25.08
Shipping & Processing: FREE
Tax: $1.57
Total Shipment Price: $26.65

Just enough to meet the $25 minimum for free shipping.

Can someone who's already used the 30% off coupon see if it can be used again on another order in the same account? You don't have to actually place the order, just try to checkout. Want to see if it's worth signing up for the 2 month free trial membership in order to get free shipping with no minimum order amount. If I can place multiple orders with the coupon, I'd definitely would want to sign up.

Thanks, just tried it myself too and it didn't work. I wonder how Ropes Pierre was able to use it twice.

i used same account, same credit card, same billing address. placed orders minutes apart.

three color trilogy 27.99 plus tax

a Christmas tale 13.99
breathless 19.99

i thought it was unlimited and was going to place another two orders on 26th.

maybe as a non member there is a glitch?

This may be a dumb question, but just to be sure... I can print out the in-store 30% off coupon as many times as I like and use it again on separate trips, -right?

That's the hope.

I used one today with the LoA set and also handed the guy the 8 off 40. He tried for a few minutes to get it to work but it wouldn't so the other guy said sorry nly one coupon per item.

Re: Barnes and Noble Criterion/Art House Sale 10/30/12-11/19/12

I know what the web-site says, but I'd like to hear it verified by actual customers:
Can I return an item(s) to the store that I ordered on-line? I ordered a copy of "Night of the Hunter" (a 2-disc pricier Criterion) a week ago and I can get a copy at my local B+M with the 30% coupon. I assume I'd have to also return the item I used to get it the free shipping (or I'd be charged for shipping, right?).

Bonnie and Clyde Digibook - $8.50
Trilogy of Life: $27.24

that's enough.

BTW, can you combine two coupons ? An Asian kid was troubling the guy at the register and the Manager for quite some time asking for combining a $8 off $40 and a 30% off coupon on one transaction. Is this even allowed ? I thought it was ONE coupon was per transaction.

It's a huge ymmv stacking coupons. However the new membership $8/$40 and $5/$50 coupons can be combined naturally if you meet all the purchase criteria. Speaking for myself I was able to do it today with the 30% and the $5/$50 on a single item that was over $50 before applying the final $5 off coupon to the purchase. Everything scanned without needing any over ride by the store employee at the register. I would say if you were trying to stack the 30% and $8/$40 coupons it's a high risk gamble that will most likely fail.

yeah, I think it did not work finally. But it just took a heck a lot of time at the register with the kid refusing to let it go...

"An Asian kid" why the hell do you feel the need to mention race?

Do you not read these threads? people abuse the coupons all the time, sometime they are allowed to stack other they are not. I once saw a white kid doing it.

I went to B&N today and after pouring over the Criterion section for 15 minutes or so I finally settled on Lawrence of Arabia. I know, I know but it's fucking Lawrence of Arabia. I think I'm Criterioned out.
