Well now I'm getting concerned. I ordered the second day of the sale from BN.com and got a confirmation page if I remember correctly. However, I have not gotten a confirmation e-mail and no order shows up on my account page. There's no pending charge on my credit card either...

I did get an email from someone - and essentially my order with the Halloween coupon is a lost deal .... oh well - 'c'est la vie'

Just received confirmation of my order from 10/31, so it looks like they're playing catch up!
Good thing, since part of it was the Qatsi Trilogy which is no longer showing the discount.

Fucking B&N......I JUST got confirmation that my order was processed. Of course they backdated it to October 31st. But they're going to ship it all together - on December 11th. Which I guess is fine by me since they honored the pre-sale price of $39.99 for the Qatsi Trilogy and $16.99 for Rashomon.

Just got my shipping email today from the order that I placed last Wednesday. Glad I had a little patience to not immediately re-place the order. It says the order will snip this Wednesday.
Not a huge Criterion nut like most here, so The Game and Thin Red Line are probably it for me.
Are there any other fairly recent movies with great extras from Criterion that any of you can recommend? Not really interested in super old black and white or old classic movies. My previous Criterions on DVD that I own are Ran, Seven Samurai and Traffic.

I know and I'm kidding folks. I know their shit got jacked up because of the storm. Kind of surprised the though that if they really did get their servers hit, yet the site was up and running, they should have put a little note at the top saying they were underwater. I'm just glad they seem to be back up to normal.

I received a confirmation email for an order "lost" on Nov. 1st. Unfortunately, I re-ordered everything about an hour before the email came. I tried to cancel but was unable to do so. Oh well.

Checked earlier tonight and see that my order for Gate and Brazil finally appeared. I ordred on the first night for 50% off those too so I was concerned it wouldn't go through.

Ordered titles on 10/31...never got an email...order never showed up on their site! Called 11/1 and the CSR said it was a problem with their computers due to the storm and to re-order the titles...which I did...and they shipped. Now days later they charge my creidt card for the same titles TWICE NOW and are about to ship the same titles a 2nd time! Called last night and literally went ballistic on them as it totally fu*ked up my debit card...which I recieved an overdraft fee for!!! I was so pissed that he CSR finally said "Let me put you on with an administrator sir". I WAS PISSED like unbelievably!!!!!! Administrator apologized and said she would try to call the wharehouse to stop the 2nd order from shipping and promised to get the overdraft fee removed from debit card. FUC*ING IDIOTS IMO. I am still livid and still waiting for resolvement of this fuc*ing mess!!!!! Just inexcusable for a company as big as B&N is!!!!
