Apparently U&S is back on October 7th

I saw this posted on another site so I thought I would share it here:

http://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread....t=upgrade+save

I hope this helps someone out. I usually look forward to these sales.

I'm ready! Hopefully there's a few better movies than the last outing- it seems the one prior to the last had a lot of decent $4.99 bargains.

You've got to be kidding. That last U&S was unbelievable ...

This time though the only thing I know I will pick up is the E.T. digibook and Magic. I'm sure I'll buy a bunch more since stuff always tends to pop up, but I'm not really that anxious to spend a lot of money right now.

Hopefully the ET Digibook is listed at a reasonable price.

And hopefully they have more copies available than they did for Jaws, since demand seemed to exceed supply on that one.

You said it for me, but I'm posting anyway cuz I love the sound of my own voice. ;)

Well it was either stuff I had or wasn't interested in. Also, I guess what I should have specified was stuff that worked out to be $4.99. So there wasn't a lot of $4.99 titles that I wanted, most of which I picked up during the prior sale. Plus I mainly upgrade, and a lot of my collection isn't available on Blu-ray or probably won't be.

I noticed today that many of the sale tags are not ending until some time in November. So, I'm not optimistic that we'll be seeing a great variety of new $4.99 titles this time around.

Did you look at the actual section of titles marked down specifically to $9.99? Almost all of those titles actually end on 10/06. I know there were quite a bit of titles that were marked down to $7.99 or $12.99 that ended in November as well. One of the titles marked down to $9.99 that I would really have liked at $5 was European Vacation but that will not be happening now :(

Definitely looking to next Wednesday when the ad is revealed to see if there is any clue to some new $9.99 sales items.

I looked mostly at the horror titles and TV shows. Jennifer's Body, Predator, Hannibal, An American Werewolf in London, The Haunting of Molly Hartley, and the I Spit On Your Grave double feature should remain at $9.99 until November. The Hills Have Eyes 2 and Dylan Dog: Dead of Night will be stuck at $7.99.

Ok, yep those are 2 different sections from the one that has all the titles that are on sale for $9.99 grouped together in one place.

My biggest issue with the last one was all the titles I wanted were already at $7.99. I ended up buying a title I wasn't that in love with on the last day of the sale just so I wouldn't lose the coupon.

I wish the single Harry Potter movies were in stock, I'd unload my DVDs of the first five movies to upgrade to Blu.

My BB has revamped the whole store and only has about half the number of BD/DVDs as before. I hope I can find something decent during the U&S deal.

Anyone have any idea what the pricing is supposed to be on these? I can't seem to find them on the website at all.

Never get more coupons than items you want. Don't trade in a DVD until you have made sure the store has something you want and it's in stock. Take advantage of the sale, don't let the sale take advantage of you. End of lecture and channeling my inner Ward Cleaver. ;)

don't mean to throw a wet blanket on this but all new $9.99 titles have a 'way' of hitting $14.99 just in time for U&S.
