Canceled my Amazon order too. I'm only paying $3 more to have the steelbook ... rather than $20 from Amazon and a separate $7.50 steelbook.

You do realize BB will give you a refund for your deposit and let you keep the SB right? Right there in the fine print on the back.

Yes, I understand that can be done, but this way I keep clear what little conscience I have left.

This may be YMMV - I had in the past one rep ask for the stealbook back had to go to another BB to get the refund. ( may have been Beauty and the beast or snow white BD)

So are people thinking they will get the Lucifer plush when they pick-up their Steelbook pre-order? On the back in the fine print (again, yes, sorry but I read it) it says cannot be combined with any other promotions, etc......

When you pick up the pre-order, they process the $7.50 as an exchange off the purchase price of the disc. If the plush rings up as free with the purchase then it is yours. You don't even bring the SB back with you, just the receipt.

Has anyone found the Bond discs anywhere? I find it odd that they're missing from the website as well.

I went to Westbury NY store. No Bonds to be found. But they still had much more stock than Levittown store. And the place was bustling. In Levittown I coulda fell asleep behind the washing machines

No problem picking up Lucifer, 3 disc set, using my $5 DMR coupon, and applying my pre-order value of $15 (Cinderella Steelbook & Avengers Steelbook on same receipt, latter I told them I didn't want any more). Actually very nice experience and they processed with zero issues.

Not to derail here, but please refrain from insulting Sheldon and Leonard.

No new James Bond BDs at my BB. At least (unlike Walmart) they were aware of them but couldn't explain why they didn't have them nor why they couldn't find them in their inventory system. So only Target had the new James Bonds out, and they had precisely ONE copy of each when they opened. So that 3 for 9. Congratulations, BB, Target, and Walmart, for once again having such great inventories.

Does anyone know when BB will trouble themselves to have the new James Bond BDs? When the price shoots up to $14.99 next week? I'm not wasting DVD trade-ins to bring the price down to where it should've been. I'll just wait a year or two for the price to drop. My DVDs still work.

No. My understanding is each of the 3 stores was supposed to get new James Bond BDs on 10/2, but only 1 out of the 3 did. Seems like a legitimate complaint to me unless I was misinformed (by posts on DVD Talk) that those movies were supposed to be out on 10/2.

Their street date is 10/23 which is after the U&S promo ends. No info on price yet.
