DMR Cinderella $5 Coupon for 3-Disc Set

DMR has the link up for a $5 coupon for the Cinderella 3-Disc set here. Expires 10/7. I don't think it can be printed yet, after about 15 seconds the website changes to DMR special offers (no Cinderella coupon there yet).

It's working now. I have Cinderella pre-ordersd at Amazon but printed a coupon just in case a better deal is available at a store next week.

I wonder if Target will accept this for their Digibook since that technically doesn't have the digital copy.......

Re: DMR Cinderella $5 Coupon for 3-Disc Set

It's always wise to print the coupons now just in case, although DMR usually doesn't pull them early (unlike some other web sites).

The story with coupons and Target and different versions than what they show on the coupon is always the same... most of the time the computer will recognize and accept the coupon on a different version of the same movie, so it depends if your cashier reads the coupon and enforces the details. At Target at least you have a shot, especially if you try different cashiers.

The book would be nice, but I think it's just a 32 page Disney storybook rather than info related about the making of the Disney movie. I haven't seen any pictures of the pages inside it (does anyone have any links?). As I don't care for digital copies, I'd go for the BD + DVD + storybook Target version for $22.99 - $5 coupon if I knew I'd get a cashier who would let it work *AND* if I knew Target would have more than a few copies in stock, but it's always YMMV. At least my YMMV success rate at Target is much better than YMMV at BB. I know the best case scenario is my Target could have 12 copies. How long will those last? Is it worth having to get to Target every Tuesday at 8:00 AM because I know they have so few copies they'll be OOS by 8:05 AM?

Thinking I might do TRU this time, if they still have the Secret of the Wings pre-order cards. Using that, plus the DMR coupon, I should be able to get the 3 disc for 19.99+tax, and they're offering a free Cinderella wall clock with the purchase, which I know my girls would love.

Re: DMR Cinderella $5 Coupon for 3-Disc Set

Is there any benefit to the 3-disc besides the digital copy? Everyone has the 3-disc for $5 more, and I don't have a use for a digital copy, so I'm wondering if there's any reason for me to get it for the same price.

Name one reason not to if it's the same price.

Today, I'm not necessarily using digital copies either, but if it's "free," why not? I may want it a few years down the road and it'll be ready to go.

Actually, it'll probably be expired a few years down the road. Unless you're downloading them and just not using them.

Exactly what I'm doing.

Re: DMR Cinderella $5 Coupon for 3-Disc Set

The only reason I like the Disney digital copy, over others, if it is the same cost is that by entering the DMR code online, it is automatically available at the DMR site, or Disneymoviesonline, for online viewing.

Re: DMR Cinderella $5 Coupon for 3-Disc Set

I know I'm never going to use a digital copy, as I'm capable of ripping a copy off the disc if I have the need. So no point in printing out the coupon and having an extra useless disc if that's the only difference.

EDIT: I just thought, does anyone know if it will be a 3-disc case, or will it just be a 2-disc cases with 2 discs in 1 hub? An extra 3-disc case might make it worthwhile.

I wish stupid a$$ Disney would stop making dvd sized cases for BD. Are customers that stupid that they cannot be just told there is a DVD in a blu ray case !!

any way to get the proper cover art when this happens?

As the 3 disc set is part of the Jewelry Box set (which includes Cinderella II/III), does anyone think this coupon would work on it. Assuming any B&Ms are even carrying the special set in-store.

Just a quick FYI for you -- my Targets had a problem with the Cinderella book. I went to one and they didn't have it out. The guy said that they're supposed to be out on Thursday (-rolleyes-). So I went to another one and they had them out but the cashier had to enter the DPCI code manually. She said that there is some error in the code that needs to be fixed. (Let the conspiracy theories begin! :D).

On the bright side, the $5 coupon works with the Target exclusive!

Same here. They had hand written codes at each of the check out lanes. I do like book too. Very similar to the digibooks from WB. I can live with paying $18 for this release.

Got 2-disc edition plus free clock at TRUS for $11.99+tax. Used $8 off from Nemo preorder and DMR coupon.

I did the same, except I used the $10 off Secret of the Wings pre-order card.

Interesting, didn't know those pre-order coupons were back at TRU.

How much is TRU selling the 3 Disc Cinderella for?

It comes in a 3-disc case. Surprising, considered most of the recent Disney releases have stacked discs.

Sure, now you tell me after I already got the two-disc :P

Can the coupon be used at Best Buy (since I purchased the steelbook)? Would they take off the 7.50 from the case and then the $5 coupon?
