I know there are haters... but anyone who didn't get in on amazon's $8 coupon and maybe even some who did might be interested, DeepDiscount.com is now pre-ordering Finding Nemo 3D Blu-Ray for $19.99.

I personally think that amazon price on release day - $8 will be equal or less than this, but it's certainly a viable deal.

Damn, they got me for Brave and now they are going to get me for this. My order with Amazon right now is at like $25.xx after the coupon. I don't care when I get it, since this is going to be a Christmas gift for my kids. I've never ordered from DDD, so how long does it usually take for them to ship orders? I've heard horror stories.

Never ordered from DDD but I've heard stories their shipping time is a nightmare. I'd like to see FN this year. Pass. But thx for the info.

I think my Brave pre-order will be the last from them. I've escaped the nightmares several others have had with them, but I'm not big on DD putting a temp hold on my bank funds. I think I'd rather pay a little more not to deal with that.

If you share the product using the button on the right hand side of the screen and then open that e-mail in another browser and use a referal site you can get the price down to about 17.50

How long does their shipping usually take? I've only ordered Brave from them, so obviously it hasn't shipped yet, but I'm weighing this price against my Amazon preorder..

Not a Blu Ray, but for comparison, I ordered an Xbox 360 game (Darksiders 2) from DD.com on 8/13, it was released 8/14 and my order shipped out by USPS on 8/24. Not speedy, but not terrible either. But I wouldn't count on those Double Disney Rewards Points for the first week.

I got my $19.99 Quadrophenia preorder within 5 days, so I'm not worried about this as much as I would have been a while ago.

You couldn't pay me to use DD nowadays. Horrible horrible service and shipping nowadays.

I used to preorder EVERYTHING with them back in the day. They would ship early (I remember getting the Evil Dead 'Book of the Dead' boxset like 2 weeks early from them) and make sure that you had each product on release day with free shipping. Shell of their former self.

I ordered a DVD and CD from DD a few days ago and received a shipping email 12 hours later. My last few orders have been hassle free.

Shipping to Canada, the turnaround times are a little longer than say Amazon.com who courriers their stuff to their .ca warehouse, but they've always been pretty reasonable.

I sent Amazon an e mail last night to see if they would price match my preorder with them. I was surprised this morning to see that they adjusted it to $25 (I guess to keep the free shipping?), so $17 after the coupon. I can live with that.

Just to add something to the DD discussion, I just noticed this morning that both my orders for Cinderella and Brave had been cancelled so I gave them a call. Apparently they had a bunch of fraud orders and some orders may have been cancelled as a result. It took a little while, but I was finally able to replace the order.

Since my biggest complaint with DD is that they spontaneously cancel orders (or preorders) without even sending an email, I wonder if it's really fraud or if (as I saw speculated in other discussions) that they get a certain quantity at a certain discount but their system isn't good enough to allocate them well, so when they find they have more orders than the discounted quantity they merely go through and cancel some people's orders (no idea if it's totally random or in a fairer way like cancelling those who ordered last). Point is I don't trust DD and assume the latter reason. Star Trek III: Finding Leonard Nemo. I just had to type that for no reason. I always loved the name Nemo and Nimoy... if for no other reason they sound cool and are original.

Amazon's price is at $27.99, so if you did get the $8 coupon, it is the same price as this. Good deal either way.
