Great find......time to tell Amazon about the price.....currently my Amazon pre-order w/ coupon is $21.99 so the debate is if they will be going any lower in the next couple of months.....

From what I've seen, Amazon rarely price matches Deep Discount. Since it's a one day sale, I went ahead and put in an order. I was not able get to get the DDBB10 code to work. After fiddling around for what seemed like an hour, I managed to apply one of the Facebook 10% codes.

Cinderella is easily in my top 5 Disney classics, so I was a bit disappointed that Amazon only offered the pre-order coupon for the more expensive 3-Disc edition. I'm betting that version won't go lower that $23 on release day, which would make it $15 after coupon. Since Amazon charges tax in my state, this deal ($16.19) would be about the same.

The coupons, including the paper ones issued by DMR, are always only good for the most expensive version (at least according to the text on the coupon, B&M stores will often not look/not care).

For Lady and the Tramp, DMR offered a $5 coupon for the 2-Disc version as well. I think the Amazon coupon was only good for the 3-Disc edition.

Lady and the Tramp is probably the best title to compare with Cinderella, since it also got the BD/DVD/DC treatment. I believe the 3-Disc got down to $17.99 (after coupon) on release day. I'm sure there will be better deals for Cinderella if you manage to use a coupon on the 2-Disc edition in store. I just prefer to save my time and gas money -- $16.19 is a fair price for this one.

Wow, you are right, I didn't even remember that, but I found the thread and the DMR coupon was $8 for the 3-disc and $5 for the 2 disc. That must be the only one, because all the other coupons I remember were only available for the most expensive version, which kind of bugged me when it was a 3D version, which I don't need.

I probably forgot because with LATT, TRU had some ridiculous deal where I got the 3 disc version for next to nothing (after coupon and Muppets pre-order).

When you enter the website, there should be a little pop-up on the upper right-hand side that gives you the option to tell friends about Deep Discount. You provide contact info for at least three people (either through Facebook, Twitter, or e-mail). If one of them clicks the message, they will get a 10% off code and you will be sent one as well. If you have more than one e-mail address that you use, you can probably get the code by entering your secondary e-mail as one of the three that are required.

I *think* so ~ size appears to be a BD match. Different color than the other disney blus, but ~ meh ~ for $ 18, seems like a winner.

The gold slipcase looks similar to the Lady and the Tramp 3-Disc, so I'm fairly sure this will come in a BD case.

I actually prefer the artwork for the 2-Disc version (with the blue border), but I ordered this one because the price is in line with what I was willing to pay.

The 10 percent coupon said it was good until 9/30 on a catalogue I received from DD. I guess they did something to it recently. I figured out how to get the facebook/ email 10 percent to work.

unfortunately for me it seems THEY forgot I ordered from them as my order has yet to ship and my order history still lists it as "PreOrder" and not "Processing" or anything different .... time to have a chat with their customer service
