The Deal of the Day page does say it is in-store and online, so if you're lucky enough to have one in-store (no store pickup, so you'll have to go check), you should be able to use a U&S coupon on it

3 Blu-Rays of good cartoons I already have on DVD for $19.99. Nah. Maybe when they have the entire Looney Tunes Golden Collections BD set that will replace volumes 1-6 on DVD at a reasonable price, I'll consider it.

I'm surprised it sold out quickly too because I wouldn't think that many people would re-buy these on BD when they already have them on DVD, but then I'm not as surprised when I consider it's BB who loves to put things on sale and advertise them when they normally have very small quantities available.

Same here. I'm surprised it sold out so fast. Also, is the resolution that much better? Never was sure on these releases.

There are some additional cartoons on the BD which were not released on DVD. Whether or not it is enough for an upgrade is up to you... IF you can score this in-store, $15 with U&S is a super bargain. Here is the review for the LE version. The discs are the same. You just don't get the package fluff.

My loss too. I really wanted to pick this one up. I even called the Reward Zone Premiere number to see if I could locate one in-store and they couldn't find any. It's pretty shitty to have a Deal of the Day this good and have almost no inventory to sell, either online or in-store.

I felt that way when it was first announced. I think there's 10 cartoons not from the Golden Collections on this set (well, the main 50 away, didn't count the bonus cartoons). However, one of the things I do like about the set is the second disc had complete runs of a few characters: Marvin the Martian, Taz, Witch Hazel, Marc Antony and Pussyfoot, and Ralph Phillips. It will be nice to watch all these runs without having to switch discs. Plus, it was only $15 after U&S.

Had no luck going in store when i saw it was sold out online. Luckily I saw it was back in stock online. $15.00 after using reward zone coupon I had.

Good to know that the price comes down as Volume 2 will be released in October.

I hate to be the voice of Gloom & Doom, but I got that same Backordered email from BestBuy.com for a couple of Video Game sale items a week ago Monday after buying them on sale Sunday morning. On Friday of the same week, I got a Cancellation email. I was furious, but was able to locate the item in store while still on sale. I sure hope this will be different.

Hopefully this won't be another Ben Hur from last year's Black Friday. Of course that was a limited edition which they continued to sell after it was sold out.
