I picked up Grosse Point Blank, High Fidelity, and Total Recall MBE today with U&S. My store had two copies of MBE hidden behind some of the old transfer (and there was only one copy when I was there last week, so possibly restocked). The online stock check had it listed as unavailable, so it might be worth calling and seeing if you can find a nice employee to check the actual stock for you. If I remember correctly, titles get listed as unavailable if there are less than 3 in store.
Did your copy of Grosse Point Blank have random ink blots all over the insert? The five or so copies at my store all had them, which caused me to pass on buying it.

For those in NYC, found Total Recall MBE at the Union Sq store. They had to go to the back where they found a box of 'em. Hope this helps!

Picked up Adventures in Babysitting today. Wanted to get Grimm also, but they were out so I just ordered it from Amazon. Best Buy + tax means the coupon would only save a little more than 2 bucks so I decided to save the coupon and i'll go saturday and see if there is anything else worth getting.

Snagged the last copy of Gross Point Blank today, wasn't expecting to find it!

My Best Buy featured some slick alphabetizing. Grosse Pointe Blank was filed in the "B" section. Apparently words like "grosse" and "pointe" are articles now. Well done!

I picked it up along with Adventures in Babysitting and The Lorax. They didn't have the MBE of Total Recall so I'm just sticking with my movie ticket-less $7.99 copy.

Got one also. The CSR had to call a manager who took close to 10 minutes to finally show up after several calls! But he OKed it immediately and with no fuss. Not sure if they put the sign back up.

Both of the Oahu stores use the photocopied U&S coupons. The cashiers usually keep the cardstock coupons at their registers for easy scanning.

At this point in the sale a lot of stores near me are using photocopies too.

My local Best Buy pretty much blows as far as selection. Walked around for 30 minutes looking for anything decent, but couldn't find anything with Expendables money or any of the other titles I wanted. Finally settled on High Fidelity, Blade (TDKR money), and Incredible Hulk. Maybe I'll check a different one later...seems silly to pay full price to see Expendables 2...

Is the TDKR movie money still good? The ones I redeemed last weekend from the first week of the U&S promotion expired on 8/5/12.

^^^ I feel like this too. I've walked around a Best Buy twice this week and once last week hoping there'd be something to grab me. Total Recall is out and so is 2001, the only other title I was remotely interested in was The New World, and that's not available either. I caved in and bought the Jackie Chan 4-pack for $5 after trade-in and after getting home and reading they were all on the same disc and cropped to 1.78:1 I'm taking it back. There were a lot better titles on sale last time around. There are very few DVD's Best Buy carries that I want- other than some catalog titles that I want to upgrade on the cheap- but none are an acceptable price to me.

Re: Best Buy Upgrade & Save, $5 Off Blu-ray titles, Jul 15 - Aug 11, 2012

Picked up Total Recall, High Fidelity, Adventures in Babysitting and Game of Thrones: S1.

Had to track down a clerk to investigate the Total Recall Blu as it was listed as Available but I couldn't find a copy anywhere. I swear it took like 10 minutes to get someone's attention. Just like the police, Best Buy employees are always around when you don't want them, but nowhere to be found when you need them.

Anyways, they had four copies in the back. Game of Thrones was roughly $33, which is the cheapest I've ever seen it in store. High Fidelity was an easy find, but AIB was hidden in the corner of new releases.

Gonna stop by tonight for my last visit of the sale. I've got 2 coupons left. Debating on just going ahead and biting the bullet on getting the Toy Story films. Can't imagine them going on sale any time soon.

Re: Best Buy Upgrade & Save, $5 Off Blu-ray titles, Jul 15 - Aug 11, 2012

I had a TR in my hands last Saturday, but stupidly put it back, planning to return Sunday morning. Of course, it was gone. And this morning it suddenly appeared in stock online at one of my stores. I spent 30 minutes on hold with them before they finally said they'd have to call me back. They called an hour later and said they couldn't find it (but by then it showed Unavailable online). So I'm 0 for 2. However, I'm going out of town this weekend, and 5 of the 6 closest stores to my hotel show it AVAILABLE! I'll believe it when I see it, but I'm bringing my last trade-in coupon with me, and hope to finally score it.

I discovered this last night. My vouchers from the Blade movies were wasted, but I would have bought those anyway. But I did use both of the ones from my Batman Steelbooks, which I probably would not have bought without the vouchers.

All of the Best Buys near me are the same.

The blu-ray and DVD selection is really pathetic. The selection is small, disorganized, and looks picked-over. Reminds me of Circuit City.

Is there a trick to getting those stickers off. The ones on the Steelbooks came off great, but I ruined my vouchers from Blade and a coupe of others because the glue was so strong and they stupidly put it over the codes so that it stuck to the package. Glad I had enough purchase ( see below), but it was still aggravating.

Final haul (so far). May get Firefly and Total Recall (if they restock) but I think I'm through. All the movies I bought in 3D (except for Green Lantern and Ice Age 3) were 1st time buys for me, so I thought "why not": --- even though I don't own a 3D player or Tv (maybe some day).

Edit: Crap. I just counted how many titles I bought.

take off the plastic wrap, and read code through the plastic.
