No employee at my local store has even heard of the Buzz Club. I showed the cashier my text and she was asking around about what to do, and no one knew anything about it. She finally just decided to punch in the code and it worked. You would think Barnes and Noble would inform their employees about this promotions, but apparently not. I worked at Borders, and it was a living hell, so I feel for them.

Nope, best way to buy is in store. I think there's a 1 time 15% discount through Visa online which brings it to 18.32 before shipping. Otherwise the only other coupon is the B&N Buzz program that gives you a $5 off $15 purchase via text message, but it has to be redeemed in store and it can be YMMV. Several people, myself included, have been picking up $12.99 Blu-rays this way. Otherwise it's $19.99.

The Visa codes don't appear to be working with Criterions. They work with other things though.

BN.com disabled ALL coupons on Criterions days ago. The only way to use them is in store.

Technically, the $5 off $50 coupon still works online. Might be an option for someone who lives far from a B&M B&N.

That's what I'm worried about. If I hold up my cell and show them a text from the 'Buzz Club' they'll probably think I'm insane. I've had enough trouble just getting the $8 coupon to work, which from a cashier that didn't even realize the 50% off sale was happening. You'd think after, what, seven(?) Criterion sales that they'd be a little more familiar with coupon usage. This is one coupon code I won't be attempting, but good luck to those who do.

I've been a buzz club member for quite a while. My recent texts have all clearly stated 15% off online only. What's the wording on the startup text? I just got a new one today that says online only.

Not for Criterions. Add $50 worth and try it. I tried it recently with Criterions only and it said the coupon doesn't qualify.
