It's a great deal, and one of my favorite shows too. If it were day of yore, I would quickly grab this deal. But now I've realized I never really re-watch TV series I've already been watching/following. So I now just get tv shows that I've never followed but has great reviews. Still a great deal nonetheless.

I bit and did local store pick up. I find myself buying sets of shows I've never seen based on great reviews as DVDGamer suggests but also because I hardly catch anything on regular TV anymore (except for Wrestling and an occasional game show).

Thanks for posting this, it has been on my blind-buy list for awhile. With free shipping there was no need to wait (no store near me and the sales tax is higher in-store anyway). I also picked up some other BDs that were at competitive prices with free shipping.

I wonder if all seasons of Supernatural BD will still be $18.99 when Upgrade & Save is active? That would be $13.99 each which would be cheaper than the $16.88 + tax I paid (net effective price after coupon + shipping) for 4 Supernatural seasons recently from my un-favorite place WBShop. That would be a difference of $2.85 + tax per season x 4. Not too big but still over $12.

I would've waited for this deal if I had had a crystal ball to know future BB deals. I certainly have no shortage of near worthless (from a trade-in value standpoint) DVD movies to trade in.

^ S2 may be hard to find. None of my stores have it, and it is sold out online... But I plan on getting S5 and S5 if the price lasts. As for Nikita, I used RZ certs on it at $18.99, so not sure how that will work...

any idea how long this will last? I picked up Vampire Diaries s1-2, Nikita, and Supernatural s6. ran out of credit so I have to wait til my last payment goes through before I can even think about Supernatural s1 and 2....

edit- durn, s1 and 2 aren't available anyway. lol. well, that answers that. great sale though.

Funny you mentioned that ... with the Trade In sale, I have been able to locate and purchase all Supernatural seasons BUT Season 2.

S2 is also $18.99 at WBShop, but shipping is $5 and you have to pay tax ... but its better than $39 Amazon is asking for it.

I actually found S2 at the second store I went to. So I got S2, S5, and S6 (already had 1,3,4 from dvd2blu). They had only one copy of S2. I passed on the animated series though, as tempting as it was...

The sad part? I've never seen the show. But I know enough people that keep telling me how awesome it is. At some point, I'll sit down and watch it. Hopefully I will like it...

I hope all you hoarders who bought this and haven't seen this show yet will actually sit down and take the time to watch it. It's a fantastic show and very addictive.

I did watch it as soon as I got it; now my neighbors have my copy and they are enjoying it also. Looking forward to the season 2 BD set. I also bought a DVD copy off Half.com for my local library to add to the collection, I expect it to circulate very well.

I tracked down a S2. I went into a local store and had them check stock in the entire Chicagoland area. Found a store that had a few of them, called Customer Service and they had the local store hold a copy for me. I had to drive 20 miles out of my way, but it was worth it. They had multiple copies of all seasons at that 1 store.

Granted, I probably burned a gallon and a half of gas going there, but even figuring that in, it was a few dollars cheaper than ordering from WBShop.

They were also the only store that had Lost Boys: The Thirst in stock ... so 2 birds, 1 stone.
