Great price on the Hustler. I jumped on that one.

Edit: Went back and got two copies of Tora! Tora! Tora!, one for me and one for my dad. I remember (vaguely) him taking me to see that one in the theater.

Trev, I also don't think this will be difficult to do as I believe all the discounts and low prices for the Digi Book editions from WB and now FOX indicates that they are probably phasing this sort of packaging out.

I picked up TORA TORA TORA which I remember as being dull and talky, but it's gotten such great reviews as a film and Blu and is often praised for its authenticity, so I thought it would be worth seeing again in the best presentation possible. At the very least I'll probably watch it every couple of December sevenths. My bros both picked up THE HUSTLER so we got free shipping.

Perry, you are right in avoiding BUTCH CASSIDY. I sold my Blu copy of it awhile back as it looked terrible. Like PATTON it needs a new release.

What you should do is watch the first half of Tora Tora Tora; it's great for setting everything up; as soon as the planes take off, switch to Schumacher's Pearl Harbor (horrible 1st half, but the actual bombing was extraordinarily well executed). --Peter

Bay did direct Pearl Harbor...and it wasn't Schumacher I was thinking of...if was Bruckhimer (producer)...but as someone else pointed out, those names are pretty much all interchangeable! --Peter

I had no idea the Fox digibooks were so thin. Just got Tora x3, an the book is so damn thin. Still waiting for Hustler, which I imagine is just as thin.

I ordered Tora Tora Tora and The Hustler, but I decided to avoid Patton and Butch. The reviews (at multiple blu ray sites) of those transfers are horrible.
