Yeah. Copy the product SKU (which in this case is 2804667). Then find any other product which does let you check store availability. In that link, just change the sku where it says skuId=
But yours odds of finding this in-store may be slim. I checked my entire area, plus two other states I used to live in, and none had it in stock.

Re: Gettysburg/ Gods and Generals limited 24.99 at bestbuy.com

My online order arrived yesterday. This is probably one of the best packaging shipments I have ever received. It was double boxed, large outside box with a lot of air-filled padding surrounding a form-fitting box for the set ... which was in immaculate condition.

I was worried about getting this via the mail, but Best Buy came through.

I have to second this statement. Just received my set today via UPS. Couldn't be more pleased with the packaging. Maybe someone over at WBshop should take notice.

Yet another reason the USPS sucks but hey, let's raise prices and try to cut back on services.

The USPS sucks because it's a Federal holiday and all Federal employees are off? It's not like they chose to not work today; the government decided for them.

UPS doesn't deliver mail. They are a private company delivering privately sent packages and are not mandated to take the day off.

That's be nice but I used to have to work.

I also laugh at the mail man when they used to have that saying about always delivering through snow and whatever weather conditions they'd spout off in that saying. I remember having a paper route in 7th grade and I had to deliver papers in the snow while they didn't deliver anything because it snowed too much for them.

Ditto on all counts. I was highly impressed. I laughed when I saw I received number 40,000+ out of 100,000. I don't consider 100,000 to be limited. That's a LOT. But I don't really care much about edition sizes, since they are rarely truly "limited."

Mine was exactly like this and I inspected the set today to find the left side of it was crushed terribly. The entire left side is warped, so severe that the right side actually has visible stress marks. I am shocked, because it was packaged well and probably didn't happen during transit.

Just thought I would mention this set SHOULD have come with an actual coin of value. I mean really, how much more would the fucking set have cost if you included a $1 coin or something. It would have been rather nice to have such a set with a REAL coin commemorating such a historical time. Thank God I only paid $25 for this as it's barely worth even that.

The Gettysburg LaserDisc box set came with an actual Civil War bullet.

Now tell us what the MSRP on the laserdisc set was.

EDIT: $159.99

Glad I only hit the tail end of the Laserdisc movement (although I still have a few )

I found a real civil war musket ball for y'all on ebay:

I still have around 150 Laserdiscs. I watch them occasionally. I have the original, "unedited" Star Wars movies on LD ... plus all of the other versions that came out on LD (P&S, WS, THX, Definitive set, Special Editions).

It was an expensive hobby then.

The best was when the Blockbuster store near me started clearing house, selling them for $10 each.

I have a few films that have not hit DVD/Blu yet and the Star Wars THX "Faces" Original Versions. My player may or may not be in Florida, however.
