I've had far fewer issues with the brown cardboard mailers from BB than from the plastic bubble mailers from Amazon. I feel that's partially due to Amazon using stupidly large bubble mailers rather than one that's sized properly.

That's been my general experience ordering from the two companies.

In fact, I would say I have more problems with Amazon's packaging damaging merchandise than all other net retailers combined. And I have packages coming in from all over the United States and Europe.

Amazon must have interns running their media section these days. It's only a matter of time until they stop carrying physical media.

It does appear that the Postal Service has lost one of my Best Buy orders from early in November. The tracking stops back on the 16th, claiming it's still in transit. That status hasn't changed in ten days.

The issue with those cardboard shrinkwrap mailers is when the item itself is cardboard as well (digipaks as an example). That machines shrink force often tends to squish whatever is inside it when it's something that isn't as solid as a plastic keepcase.

My biggest issue with amazon lately has been huge boxes with just a bunch of those inflatable pillows supposedly acting as the filler/protection. Most thngs have arrived in good shape regardless, but it's a huge waste of packaging.

Yesterday Best Buy sent me a single $50 iTunes gift card in a sealed plastic sleeve, in a small cardboard box, protected with several air pillows.

I just received my Black Friday movie order from Best Buy. They actually put my 4 titles in a box. Luckily the 4k titles have the rounded edges on the slipcover they probably would have been crushed a little. Everything was ok except for my Logan 4k. They sent me the Walmart exclusive and the box is a little beat up, but I don't think it's worth returning.

I buy them anyway, but Peanuts specials have always been a ripoff. They could easily put 10 of these on a disc. Instead you get the main feature and one lesser one.

I'm not sure how it is on Blu-ray, but on Ultra HD Blu-ray, the discs have three specials in two different aspect ratios, so it's still around 2.5 hours of 4K video per disc. Not filled to the brim, but not too bad either.

Each 4K disc also has a different (appx. 15-minute) documentary as well.

I own the dvd collections, the 60s, and the 70s vol1 and 2. That along with the "Award winners" collection which rounds up 80s specials does it for me.


Those collections offer more than any other Peanuts sets. Of course they have released the on blu ray, but the dvds look good enough.

Yeah, the collections came out long after everyone had bought the individual releases. I never did pick those up.

Dropped by Best Buy on my way to get some Super Bowl snacks and got Flash, Arrow, Legends, Supernatural and Supergirl as ^^^ mentioned above for $9.99 each.

$54 and change with tax out the door. They won't get any cheaper than this and glad I waited for it to drop this much. This is the price point I'm comfortable paying now to continue my collection of these series.

Went into the store because I had a $10 membership credit. I know we've all noticed this big time, but every tine I go in they have less. The 3 dump bins was the highlight. Less than 300 other titles in the entire store. For $8.76 including tax I picked up (all blu):

There was also a lot of Marilyn Monroe on blu at $5.99 in the dump bin, but I have a UK DVD complete box that I'll likely never watch again so I couldn't justify. Annie Hall was an upgrade from dvd, I actually didn't have the other 2.

Speaking of which, so far I haven't bought a blu of something I'd already upgraded, but I KNOW it's going to happen..................

Be glad your local Best Buy still carries movies, I've come across some locations that have nothing but a couple 4-sided displays as their movie section.
