That's my approach nearly every time. The people behind the counter at my local theaters struggle with anything out of the ordinary when it comes to ringing up a transaction. I don't want to make it more difficult on them.

Sweet, thanks! Except I'm 90% sure my Regal doesn't have a kiosk.

So, let's inconvenience paying customers to try and stop the handful of teens that theater hop? I still think it is a shoddy business model to not have your movie houses labeled.

Is this deal for site only or are these in store in a certain place?

Some stores got a shipper with all the titles on it, but not every store. My local store didn't get it, so I just ordered a few online.

I could find 3 there; but due to a recent move & literally thousands of dvd's & cd's currently in tubs & my stereo audio system not set up, I think I'll pass this time.

At least I finally got my TV & br player set up.

Yep. Financially required major downsize. My collection & the racks that hold it are the #1 pain in the rear.

I've been here a little over a week; I foresee 2 months additional unpacking (no help, it's just me)

I suppose the X-men Blu-rays get you Apocalypse movie money and the lone Independence Day Blu-ray gets you Resurgence movie money. What do y'all think the other Blu-ray titles get you?
The one I bought has a sticker that says it's only good for Independence Day.

Could be worse. I've been at my current location a year and a half and still don't have all of my collection unpacked. I look at all the boxes, get discouraged and think, yeah, next week.

I know that feeling. Most of my DVD's and HD-DVD's are in boxes. I do have all of my BD's out though. At least I hope so. If I missed a box, then I may have re-bought those titles!

Re: Best Buy / bestbuy.com discounts and deals on Blu-ray

A big part of my problem is TONS of racks, some of which suffered minor damage during the move. My cd's take up the middle sized bedroom; the living room is my TV, my stereo, & dvd's. Blu collection is still pretty small; it fills just over 1 drawer on the tv table

Not sure how good of a deal it is but the John Hughes Yearbook Collection (Weird Science/Sixteen Candles/Breakfast Club) is $14.99 right now.

Comes with Digital copies of each film as well.

As usual, Amazon probably price-matching.

If anyone is curious, this price is also reflected in-store as well.

Anyone know what titles are currently in the sony savestation section? I ask because there is going to be a BOGO offer starting next week.

I read that there are over 70 items to choose from.

Don't understand why Best Buy will only allow store pickups for Vinyl Season 1 and the U2 Paris Blu-ray is not available to order online.

Maybe I will give my money to Amazon this week.

That Apocalypse Now package is an incredible deal for $11.99, but to buy it with something else for $6.50 is unreal! If I didn't already own it, it's a no brainer purchase.

I have a Apocalypse Now/ Redux blu ray set in a fancy box (not a standard Blu Ray case) - the one that doesn't have Hearts of Darkness. Does that have the Bonus disc? I can't remember and am not at home right now. I can't find a listing for that combo at Amazon.

Edit : I guess it's this one.

Special Features
• Apocalypse Now - The 1979 Cut and Apocalypse Now Redux are presented for the first time in Hi-Def!
• New 1080p transfers supervised by Francis Ford Coppola - first time ever in original theatrical aspect ratio (2.35:1) in home entertainment release!
• New "A Converation with Martin Sheen" interview by Francis Ford Coppola
• New "An Interview with John Milius" by Francis Ford Coppola
• Never-before-included Complete 2001 Cannes Film Festival: Francis Ford Coppola interview by Roger Ebert
• Audio Commentary by Francis Ford Coppola
• Monkey Sampan "lost scene"
• Additional Scenes
• "Destruction of the Kurtz Compound" - with audio commentary by Francis Ford Coppola
• "Heart of Darkness" - 1938 Mercury Theatre audio recording with Orson Welles
• "The Hollow Men" - video of Marlon Brando reading T.S. Eliot's poem
• "The Birth of 5.1 Sound" featurette
• "Ghost Helicopter Flyover" sound effects demonstration
• "A Million Feet of Film: The Editing of Apocalypse Now" featurette
• "The Music of Apocalypse Now" featurette
• "The Synthesizer Soundtrack" article by Bob Moog
• "Heard Any Good Movies Lately? The Sound Design of Apocalypse Now" featurette
• "The Final Mix" featurette
• "Apocalypse Then and Now" featurette
• "PBR Streetgang" interviews with the boat crew actors
• "The Color Palette of Apocalypse Now" featurette
So buying the Triple Feature for "Hearts" and keeping this will give me everything in the original expensive Full Disclosure set except the box, right?

^ Thanks for clarifying that guys. Now to find my sets to verify which, if any, I've bought on BD.

Triple Feature 2 disc - 2 Movie + Hearts of Darkness. Missing the bonus disc
SE set 2 disc -- 2 Movie disc + Bonus, Missing Hearts of Darkness disc

I think all the discs are identical b/w the 3 sets so no remastering or additional features added after the 2010 releases.
I don't know for certain about the Triple Feature release, but the first two discs are identical in the SE and Full Disclosure (movies disc, bonus features disc). Full Disclosure adds the third disc for Hearts of Darkness. This makes sense since they were released the same day.

The new Triple Feature release looks to have the identical first disc (both movie versions) plus the Hearts of Darkness disc (movie + movie redux + documentary = triple feature). So it is missing the bonus disc from the other releases.

Looks like the answer is yes. You will end up with two copies of disc 1 (movies) and one bonus disc and one Hearts of Darkness disc.
