Made a stop yesterday and picked up a couple 2 for 1's at the Savestation, Sword in the Stone (last one with slipcover) and Spartacus Season 1. Haven't seen Spartacus but for $10, I can live with that.

Went out and checked to see if they had any of the digibook packaging but none were to be found. And despite the website saying "In Stock", I could not find any at Target.

Supposedly some Black Friday prices will go live on Bestbuy.com in the early hours of the 28th, possibly as soon as 12 AM (Central?).

It always does. Last year too, I snagged all their $3.96 BD's from the comfort of the couch...and those prices carried for quite some time

same here. Bestbuy was out, the one they had picked for me was the regular casing. Went over to Target, the same thing there as well, Target dept mgr said it was discontinued. Dunno if I should chance it on Amazon

I want to go to bed, but I know if I do, the BB stuff will go live. ARGH! I'm tempted to just say fuck it. I got some of the titles during the Elite sale on Monday. There's only 5 titles I really want to get. Is it worth losing sleep over? I'm beginning to think it's not...

Yep, I'm calling it. I may find the same titles cheaper at WM tomorrow, or perhaps Amazon will come through on some later with Price Matching. I'd rather get sleep and enjoy Thanksgiving (and a Packers victory). Gnite all! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Not far behind you guys. The CSRs on the Facebook page are being extremely vague about when it will kick off. I've had a long week and need to get some shuteye.

Deals are up online now (some of them at least). Very difficult to sort through them. A lot still "coming soon".

Sales are live. They started trickling in around 2:30am EST, which was my cut-off point. I managed to get the few that I was looking for along with a bunch of cheap cds. And now, I am calling it a night.

Picked up Pacific Rim 3d for 14.99 and added Boardwalk Empire S3 for 16.99 to get me over the $25 mark.

re: Best Buy / bestbuy.com discounts and deals on Blu-ray
Sigh. My $12 Breaking Bad S5 was delivered today from Amazon, so of course it's $10 at BB now. Dammit. Fringe S5 on DVD = $8; on BD = $40. Dafuq?
EDIT: I can't check out. The site keeps burping and emptying my cart until I log back in, but when I try to check out, it burps again. Amazon is matching World War Z so far.
EDIT 2: Finally got back into the cart and all my items are sold out. Amazon is matching them, so I'll buy from them. Pacific Rim is $8 now. (Supposed to be $6 from Target. Hmm.) Too bad Star Trek Into Wrathness of Khanness doesn't have any extras at A'zon - not gonna by the stripped version.
