Worked for me just now, took only a couple of tries. Thanks for posting this, I had wanted it and was thinking of it at $21.99, but this is much better.

Edit: Got the last copy at my Best Buy, had a really nice lenticular cover as well. Idiots at the cash register though. Took them 10 minutes and they basically finally gave up and took the coupon as cash. If we (my wife, baby and me) weren't looking at laptops, it would have felt wasted.

Best Buy has a couple of the X-Files seasons at $9.99 each. I believe it's seasons 1-2 & 8-9. I ordered 9.

Yes, I saw that! My patience paid off big time...grabbed Season 8 and 9 with a $5 Rewards certificate. So, I have been able to get 2-6 at Target for $7.50 and 8-9 for $7.50 at Best Buy. I scored a used copy of season 1 and both of the separate X Files movies for $7.99 each used as well...Glad I found the individual discs. I hate that "Share the moments" packaging on the double feature that is the only one currently available.

So all I need is Season 7 and the "Event Series (Season 10). So far I've spent about $60 for the series and I'm sure I'll find Season 7 for around the same price. So I am on track to spend less than $70 to acquire the entire 9 season original series. That's a fraction of what that the box set is selling for via online retailers. I doubt it will ever be that low—even on black Friday.

After years of waiting, I never expected Fox would price the X-Files so cheaply. I guess it makes up for paying over $100 per season on DVD.

Yeah, I feel your pain. I never purchased the X Files previously and thankfully I sold off my DVD collection many years ago while prices were high and I got top dollar. It is crazy how fast prices have plummeted on packaged media—especially blu-ray. I am still stunned that I was able to buy just about every Olive Films' release I truly desired in one sale cycle and a slew of digi book titles at prices ridiculously cheaper than when originally released. Unfortunately, people are abandoning packaged media at an accelerated rate and it is obviously driving down prices. However, on the flip side, I have benefited greatly by the fracturing of the market. Things that were released years ago that I feared would never be available are showing up used in remarkable condition. The only films that I truly covet on Blu-ray are the OOP titles, "Apt Pupil" "Fright Night," and Warren Beatty's "Reds." I really want to add them to my collection but not at the current used prices online. But I think they will either be released again or will come available to me. I mean, I was flipping through used discs recently and scored "Bye Bye Birdie" for $15.99, a fraction of Twilight Time's original price—so anything's possible.

You can get Fright Night for cheap at Amazon.de. It doesn't have the extras of the Twilight Time obviously.

I saw that when I put in 6 movies to see if I would get $40 off. I'll just put in two separate orders instead. Be sure to double check Amazon's prices, many are already $6 cheaper.

The new American Ninja 1-4 Olive Films releases are $12.99 each at Best Buy, which Amazon also matched.

As some of you are probably aware, 88 Films in the UK released a cheaper box set with all 4 movies that also has some extras. It was marked as Region B, but when I received mine, it played in my Region A player fine. Apparently according to another board, 88 Films corrected later releases and now the set is Region locked to B.

I just ordered the Target exclusive, which is steelbook packaging, but it's 39.99 with a $10 gift card. If it comes down to $29.99 or 34.99 (I'm sure it'll be one or the other) it's a pretty good deal.

I don't want/need a T-Shirt, but I like lenticular covers, -the BB deal is worth thinking about...

Do you guys ever check the $5.99 dump bins at Best Buy? I normally don't, but I noticed a steelbook copy of Unbroken with a $5.99 sticker, and so I rummaged around and found a few more worth noting. Reservoir Dogs (w/ Ultraviolet), Boyz n the Hood, Weekend at Bernies, Knock Knock, Pacific Rim, and a few others. So it's worth checking out next time you're at a store.
