And the typical Best Buy bullshit begins. I ordered a few steelbooks, the website said "pick up today" and I get out of stock only 15 minutes later.

How the fuck do I know if a store has them in stock without actually physically going to each store.

In addition, Best Buy's website doesn't allow for choosing another store as described in the order. Lovely! The only thing I can change in OPTIONS...is a different person picking up the order. Yeah, that'll help with an order which is not available. "Hi, I'm here to pick up an order that doesn't exist for my friend."

Yep, I had the same problem. Out of stock notice an hour after I placed the order.

I called CS and they were nice enough to give me free standard shipping on my order.

Calling CS would probably be the best option as I think they can actually change the pick up store if they find another copy in another store that is nearby.

Many thanks! It shows as sold out online, but was able to snag the last copy of Planet Earth in store. It will make a great holiday gift for some extended family members. (Hopefully they don't read this! Ha Ha!)

Lots of these titles will show sold out when they still have one or two in the store. usually its the latest titles they hold one at least that what I've been told

Damn it. I paid $22 or so on "black friday" week thinking it would not go lower. Previous seasons hung around the $30 mark for a couple of years. I sure blew the call on this one.

That's exactly what I did and also avoided the craptastic cardboard page packaging of the complete series release. The Amazon reviews are full of issues with both it and the SG1 full series packaging.

Fox messed up and didn't include the original mono soundtrack on The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly in the remastered box. You have to buy the standalone remastered edition for it.

Were all three films remastered? I know The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly was, but I did not realize the others had been done.

You're remembering correctly, unfortunately. The first two films haven't been remastered, which is frustrating since there have been massively superior transfers overseas for years and years.

Thanks for the updates. I was trying to use a BB Gift Card and had received a notice that my RZ points were expiring unless I made a purchase, so I was motivated to find something to buy. I had the trilogy in my cart, but decided to pass.
