Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc. There are glitches where sometimes an excluded item will be allowed but assume that is the exception to the rule
Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Max 3 GC on a single online order.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order
Return period is 14 days after delivery (possibly 30 days for members though I've never tried)
Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept
The long standing Free 60 day Trial Offer was discontinued in late May 2016

STORE ONLY 15% OFF Coupons -- Unknown if multi-use or if will work on 40% Off Items
15% OFF Single Item Exp 12/31/2017 (I)
15% OFF Single Item Exp 12/31/2017 (II)
15% OFF Single Item Exp ?? (III)

15% Off One Item excludes Criterions
Store Coupon P7F3D4C and Online Coupon LEAVES2017

Some possible upcoming codes

DAYMAKER 20% off $50 or more
TAKEFIVE

"New Member" Welcome Coupons
Welcome coupons may be dead -- or at least the type that have been available for nearly a decade. The latest set now have what appears to be single use codes so these probably no longer will be generic/multiple use style.

Same here, got that pair and also picked up The Hungover Games and This is the End.

For some strange reason, over the years I have acquired a taste for not so great movies.

This is the End is like the Godfather 1, Godfather 2, Jaws, Lawrence of Arabia and Citizen Kane compared to The Hungover Games.

I said I was being far more careful in my purchases, I never said I was completely immune to impulsively buying crap that's a really good deal. A couple years ago I would have gotten 6 or 8 so that's still a step in the right direction.

Off-topic, but I have to ask. I've seen you on this site for YEARS, and know you by your signature. But I'm just curious why you STILL haven't seen Evil Dead 2? Or is that a reference to a line from something else? I've always wondered about that...

And the truth is I still haven't seen it and I don't know if I ever will. I hear it's good, but not my kind of movie. I like the ambiguity of the statement so I've never changed it.

Re: Best Buy / bestbuy.com discounts and deals on Blu-ray

Speaking of BB, the Chromecast is sorta free there online right now.

$30, but comes with $20 Play credit from BB, then a bunch of Google offers including another $20.

Back on topic, I've stuck to two BDs that I don't really need in the B1G1 deal, but darn if my finger isn't hovering over 'buy item' on most of the rest....

Thanks, Decker, for finally explaining your signature, -its sort of bugged the hell out of me for a while because I didn't know if I was supposed to "get it" or not, but at least now I know the reference.

I am for one glad, we have Best Buy - despite their quarks
A huge thanks for posting this!

I've been putting these off for awhile, but found Planet Earth in store and asked to use a $5 off e-mail coupon they'd sent me in November. Another rep. had already told me the coupon couldn't be used on anything more than 50% off (despite my not seeing that written), but I asked this time anyway. A few minutes of waiting resulted in an override that got me PE for $15 and the coupon code was never used, so I can instead use it on a $10 dvd that I want that I only saw in-store because I was there for this.

Also, Amazon is pm'ing Life, so while looking around for something to make it to $35 for free shipping (I have gc's there), I saw that they'd gotten in 1 copy of an oop dvd that I'd wanted, which I likely would have missed if not searching as a direct result of this.

So I got both of these for $35, saved my coupon and now have something to use it on that I'll be happy with, and got an oop dvd for a not ridiculous price. A good day.

No you're not. And because of your scalping, they're all sold out. Again.

Jesus, this board. Remember when people here picked up movies because they wanted to watch them?

I remember the days before eBay. They were nice. Now, everyone wants to be Walmart, while accusing the same company of being unscrupulous and evil.

I bought Guardians last Tuesday and took it home and watched it that night (I hadn't seen it in theaters). It was a very strange experience and something I hadn't done in years.

Even better - I picked up the 2D version of Rio 2 for $5 at Target (with coupon + 5% Redcard discount).

After watching half a dozen movies on my shiny new 3D TV, I think I'm over the impulse of having to buy a movie in 3D just because it's there. I rarely enjoy the 3D version more than the 2D version, plus my wife and kid get bored with the glasses after an hour or so and make me change it to 2D to finish.

I'll probably still pick up the occasional 3D blockbuster (Guardians, X-Men Future) otherwise, I'm content with saving my money.

I see the Rio 2 deal, but I don't know how you're getting Peabody for that price, unless you're pricematching somebody... Target.com shows $14.99

I'm torn on Rio 2. $4 is a helluva price, but I'd like the 3D, and $14.99 is a good price for 3D.

Correct. And while some people may have had good experiences trying to price match and B&M's, I've usually found it be a major hassle and not worth the time it takes them to complete the process.

I almost left P&S behind because I knew about the match, but in the end figured that $8.00 plus tax was probably the lowest I'm going to see that title for a long while without trying to price-match or step into hell (Wal-mart).

Deal of the Day sale:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/promo/do...ce%20skuidsaas

Pretty decent selection. Since I had a $10 off promo code/gc, I picked up The Man With no Name Trilogy for $2.99+tax. Some steel books for $7.99 and $8.99.
